My 2019 demo reel, created at Think Tank Training Centre in Vancouver and based on a wonderful concept by Klaus Pillon. I had tons of fun working on it and learned an incredible amount along the way. Please enjoy!!
Runner Up: Balazs Domjan
‘In an alternate universe, decades ago, Lara Croft’s grandmother moved to China. Her inner desire to explore the continent has led to a marvelous collection of precious artifacts. Thus she had opened a small lil’ shop where she had been selling some of her collectibles. This scene is intended to present that place.
Highly Commended: Toivo Huhtaniska
I'm very new to real time graphics and game art, but as my dream is to work as an environment artist in games I felt it was appropriate to post my entry under this category. Majority of my work is offline rendered but I feel like they capture my vision which I wish to bring to real time in the future.
Highly Commended: Hussain Dabhiya
The scene was made in Unreal engine as a personal project I chose to work on, during my Mentorship at Think Tank Training Centre. It depicts the aftermath of a lab experiment gone wrong and how nature takes over and turns the worst of things back into a pleasant scene.
Highly Commended: Fabian Kolb
This is my finished demo reel project from Think Tank Training Center.
Special thanks to Pierre-Olivier Levesque for being my mentor during this project.
Additional thanks go to Aaron Kemner for rigging the character.
I also want to thank Erika Madsen for designing some of the fictional company logos in this project
Highly Commended: Andrea Savchenko
I am a 3D game character artist with a traditional art background. I like to merge art with engineering around inspiring characters that tell a story. The pieces below typically consumed 4-6 weeks of work each.
