All the way back in elementary school, I began to teach myself stop-motion animation by framing through my favorite animated films. I started experimenting with Legos, clay, and then eventually building my own characters. I have not stopped learning since. Now, I am further developing my skills in 3D character animation. Through my hard work, discipline, and determination, I strive to continue learning and bettering myself in this awesome craft of animation!

I think, like a lot of people, creative media was an essential way of how I connected with others and learned to understand the world from my early childhood. At some point, as a teen, passing notes in class about the latest game mechanic we had dreamed up or the next plot twist in our epic future blockbuster led to the realization that interactive media was a way I could share what I felt was the universality of the human experience and remind people that they aren't alone on their journey.

Since I was a child I have always been interested in creative fields I think: first fashion and drawing were constants in my life, then literature. When I had to choose what to study I didn't know what to follow, I was just sure that none of the conventional paths caught my attention. I ended up in Computer Science, since I am more into screens than paper and pencil. It was a great plus to my life, but it didn't fulfill me that much. It was there that Mister 3D and I crossed paths.

Like many people, animated movies have had the power to mesmerize me since my childhood, and for me, they were always a safe haven. Ever since I was especially interested in the characters I was able to identify with. Through the creation of believable CG characters, I want to pass this feeling on to other people.

When I was in high school I mostly spent my time doodling on my agenda and thinking of characters that I could invent. There was always a part of me that wanted to pursue an artistic career but I signed up for Economics and Business instead, putting aside my real aspirations. A couple of years later, here I am studying 3D animation at ESMA, with the desire to make my characters and their environments finally come alive.

When I was in second grade in elementary school I got chicken pot and had to stay home. My mom bought discs for studio Ghibli's Spirited Away and that's the first time I felt the magic of animation.

Ever since I can remember, when asked what I want to be when I grow up, my answer has always been some element of the animation pipeline. For the longest time it was character animator, then character designer, storyboard artist, environment artist, modeler, and now that I’m studying to actually become one of them, my options are even more endless.

I first realize that I wanted to work in the entertainment industry when I fell in love with Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry shorts at a young age. Watching animated films has always brought me joy and I look forward to working in the animation industry to bring joy to others as well.

To contribute to a major feature film or game, and tell a story that impacts someone. I started art as an oil painter. While I was painting, I loved the effect that my art could have on people, touching them personally in their lives and in their hearts. But I wanted to be able to affect people on a bigger scale, and be able to create a medium that could touch people all over the world, regardless of time, place, or age!

I spent my childhood with limited access to entertainment and media, so accessing it was a challenge. I thought about working in the animation industry in middle school, and by the end of high school, I went outside of my comfort zone to a new country to pursue my goal. It was beyond worth it, as it shaped the person I am today. The stories I sought taught me the true impact that entertainment can have on people; it acts as a unified language that everyone can understand. It is a feeling.

I knew that I wanted to dedicate myself to entertainment industry since I was 16 years old. I was living in Granada (Spain), and I was able to go to study in Madrid thanks to some scholarships for my studies.

The first time I discovered that I wanted to dedicate myself to the world of 3D animation was when I went to a festival called ANIMAYO. From that moment on, when I saw the work of Juan Solís, I knew I could make a living out of it. From then on I dedicated my free time to learn through youtube as much as I could. Currently I decided to study at ANIMUM 3D where I perfected and acquired new knowledge to reach a professional level. It's my passion, most of my free time is dedicated to 3D modeling.

I realized I wanted to work for the entertainment industry halfway through my time in college at UCSC. I love playing video games and decided to study game development to create and share my passion through my work. But it wasn't until my last year that I realized I wanted to be a 3D artist as I love art and the process of making it.

I've always wanted to make a difference in this world, and create something inspiring. Animation was the only way I could do just that. I knew after falling in love with my first Pixar movie that I wanted to be a creator. The harmonious unity of movement and art has always motivated me to bring my special characters to life through compelling narratives and breathtaking visuals. I keep pushing every day to challenge myself in new ways and create something amazing.

My curiosity in this industry was sparked, of course, by movies like finding Nemo and Toystory. After that I noticed some vfx breakdown videos on Youtube and way later heard about a beautiful software named Blender. I startet creating small worlds with that software an experimented a lot until I got to the point where I decided to take this hobby a step further.

I was just 8 years old and I fell in love with LEGO Stop motion animation. From there it was stick figure animation, then Youtube and, at the end, 3D was inevitable. I've always loved creating content and being a massive nerd/geek this is the perfect place for me!

I’ve always been interested in storytelling and drawing, but also liked having problems to solve. Character animation is definitely the happy medium; I get the creative choice of deciding how to get the character’s performance across, but also the technical problem solving that comes with using computers and complicated programs. When I found out I didn't have to choose between the two, I realized I was right where I wanted to be.

As soon as I watched Pixar's animation "Monster University" in the movie theater as a high school student, I fell into beautiful colors, attractive character design, and a story that touched my heart. With that small interest, I looked for the production process, and I wanted to participate. While attending the animation department, I dreamed of becoming a lighting artist among various jobs in 3D animation and started preparing for the industry to achieve that dream.

My love of animated films and stories has always been a huge part of my life. It led me to beginning my artistic journey in middle school, where I would draw constantly. By high school, I fell so much in love with art that I decided to pursue it as a career. Starting from a drawing background, I soon fell in love with working in 3D and modeling characters and environments. One day I hope to contribute to the animated films and shows that have inspired me so much throughout my life.
