Round of applause for our sponsors

I have enjoyed books, art and games since I was young and it always served as a nice escape from reality for me so I am currently studying game development to try and help spread that happiness to other people.

When I was a child, I used to tell everyone that I wanted to be a Doctor. Help peoples and make my parents proud, get a lot of money... But deep down, I knew that what I really wanted to do was creating stories, universes and character that will entertain peoples, inspire them and make them have a fun time... help them in a way. That's why I dropped sciences to become an artist with a passion for telling stories and sciences.

I Realized To Wanted To Work In Creative Industries In My Schooling.

When I enroll in my university I was studying in a Civil Engineer career, I wasn´t doing bad or anything but I wasn´t excelling either. One day my sister takes me to a construction site where I would talk with other engineers in the field, when I was alone in a van checking the designs and the planning I realized that it wasn´t for me. I then decided to change careers for an artistic one where I could learn to draw and 3D Model because a discovered that is where my passion was.

I first realised I wanted to work in creative industries when I was a young boy. I always enjoyed video games and science fiction / fantasy worlds so I wanted to one day create my own. That's why I joined the Game Creative Coding class of e-artsup, so I can one day create my own video games with the world that I imagined.

I realised pretty early that I would go a creative path in life. Since childhood I always occupied myself with drawing when I got a spare moment. This lead to me pursuing artistic education during high school. 3D inspired me to be the most versatile and exiting way to create art and later I went to university and got my graduation in visual effects 3D.

I have always loved watching cartoons and I was curious to know how it worked. I really liked it and I decided to study 3D animation.

I've always drawn and loved art. Pop culture has been a part of me since childhood and I've always been fascinated by it. When I started at HEAJ I fell in love with VFX and their creations, and since then I've been trying to get better at creating them while learning each time.

I grew up with a huge interest for games and movies. I started using Photoshop around 2010 just for fun and my own personal projects and have been using ever since. With an interest in creating things, I applied for Visual Magic in 2021 and started studying VFX and learning 3D.

I realized I wanted to work as a Musician in 2015 and I have been making Music ever since. However, I was also a gamer and as the years went by, I started to wonder more and more about how games were made. This led to me enrolling in a videogame art course in the year of 2022 at UA School.

Initially, my interest in the 3D world was curious about how videogames were made from an internal point of view. Later, I realized that it could be my profession and now it is my goal.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved art. I used to draw and paint: that was my way to express myself. I’m a perfectionist and love being able to create beauty through control and technical skills. So it was natural that I became an Architecture student. In the last few years I realised that i want to create images that tell stories. I believe that behind every light, line, material and form there is an emotion.

Since childhood, movies and video games have captivated me like nothing else. The idea of creating entire worlds and characters has always amazed me, wanting to be a part of it. My passion for 3D art has only intensified over time, founding a natural talent for it, and realizing I wanted to pursue a career in the creative industries. Now with my bachelor's degree under my belt, I am more determined than ever to turn my passion into a successful career and make my childhood dreams a reality.

I first wanted to make games back in the early 1990s after growing up with the original Nintendo and falling in love with video games. Where I live, at that time there was no industry anywhere near me. Small city in the middle of Manitoba, Canada. After spending 16 years in trades I realized what I really wanted to do for a career. So jumping feet first went to school again at age 38 and am now chasing my dream.

I Always drew since I was young and never stopped. But when I was 7, I was always watching my older brother playing video game and started playing with him. At some point I watched a scene in final fantasy X that really amazed . It gave me the chills but at that time and age, I didn't realize that there where actual people doing the work to show such outcome to the public. When I discoverd the artistic jobs behind , I instantly knew I wanted to be a part of it!

I always wanted to work in the field of video games, especially characters and story, and I thought that there was no place in my country that taught the field until I discovered that there was a college that teaches game design, so I went to study there and since then I have been improving myself to become a concept artist especially for characters.

I fell in love with video games when I was just four years old. My dad showed me a Star Wars game he had installed on his laptop. Ever since then video games fascinated me and the fascination turned later into a dream of becoming a game maker.

Me interese por el mundo creativos por que me considero una persona creativa y me gusta crear mundos

I have always wanted to dedicate myself to art, but I never saw how, although I like to draw, it was not for me. One day I thought about the video games I used to play and wondered how they were made. I began to discover all the sectors involved in the development of a video game. Finally, when I saw the art part I knew it was for me.

I realised that I wanted to work in this industry the day I watch King Kong vs. Godzilla, the film had such beautiful FX and it made me want to start learning so I did and now I also love doing 3D environment.

I was studying computer science and had a class about 3D modelling which also included rigging and animation. After that class I wanted to continue working with it! I had already an interest in art and this was right up my ally.

It's been a long time but I could only see by drawing and I refused to use 3D. Then I discovered it 1 and a half years ago and I love it ! I've taken a liking to creating environments on real time engines. My goal would be to become an artist on unreal engine 5.
