Round of applause for our sponsors

Throughout my educational & professional journey, I have gained experience in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Animation, XR & UX Design. But what captivated me in these industries was creating visually stunning CG assets & environments. Fueled by my passion for 3D art and games, I quit my job to pursue this path. I was awarded the Warner Bros. Discovery Access Canada's Digital Art Scholarship & I'm currently enrolled in CG Asset Creation for Games; Props & Environments at TTTC.

The thought of being part of the thrilling entertainment arts industry has always ignited a passion within me, and I am eager to cultivate my 3D modeling skills to contribute to the creation of stunning animated films.

I wanted to work in creative media since I was young, but didn't realize it was a viable career. I had watched behind the scenes videos for my favourite games (The Sims) and as soon as I learned it was possible, I started my journey.

I have always been creating new characters using traditional and digital instruments. In 2020, I discovered the world of 3D art and decided to pursue my true passion. I believe that you'll be the best at doing what you love.

As a kid I was always either drawing, watching animated movies, or playing video games, and I got obsessed with Finding Nemo when it first came out. After working my 'regular' job in Japan for three years I knew I had to follow my passion eventually. I went back to (online) school last year and became obsessed with modeling and texturing. Been a happy camper ever since :)

I've always loved playing games and drawing since I am a kid. I had the chance to work 9 years in marketing and management in video game industry. When the pandemic hit, I rediscover my love for drawing and that helped reveal my passion for 3D and character art. I decided to change career and attend Think Tank online school.

Nothing makes me happier than the ability to create something out of nothing. Having both art and tech background, I have found love for 3D art and everything that comes with it. My goals are to set foot in the world of game art and learn as much as possible, while meeting amazing people along the way.

I downloaded blender one day, and 3D was pretty amazing. I found a livestream at some point after, which was one of the mentors at Think Tank Training Centre, Jon Catapia. I would pop in there and ask questions and got really interested in the sculpting and knowledge he possessed. And now I'm here.

Sounded better then being a Lawyer

It was an accident back in 2014-2015 and so my self learning journey began

During the second year of my software engineering university course, I was making some games on Unity with my friends, primarily for fun and self-education. At some point, we needed to get unique 3d assets that were not available for free on the internet so I volunteered to learn 3d and make those for us. It was rough at first, but I got the drill relatively fast and realized that it is what I want to focus on from now on.

I first realized I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I watched The Nightmare Before Christmas and saw the crazy proportions on Jack Skellington and his fellow Halloween Town characters. I was inspired by the dark humour meets phenomenal world-building of Tim Burton and his team.

I first watched Star Wars at a very young age and fell in love with it immediately. Growing up watching so many other films and playing a ton of video games strengthened my desire to get into the entertainment industry in some capacity. I always had a real desire to work in a creative field, so I focused on art throughout my time in school. In college I began exploring animation, but eventually transitioned into game art after falling in love with the 3D art process.

I've been the art kid since I was in kindergarten, I love drawing everything around me. Moving on I became a self learn character concept artist until I realized there was too many competition around it and I need a job.. Which then I realized that 3D has more job offers and I actually enjoy it as well! especially in texturing. And from there I've always dream of working in big companies for big movies and I'll tell myself that one day, one day, my name will be at the end of Marvel end credits.

It's a dream since high school.

I've always been really interested in the behind the scenes of TV, movies and video games. I knew that I wanted to do something creative but it took me some time to figure out which area I like best. I've dipped my feet in many areas of the industry but when I first tried 3d modelling, I knew that I found what I want to do.

The first time i played Warcraft 3

When I was young my parents sent me to a small time advertising studio to learn photoshop. Meanwhile I saw my mentors working on 3D and felt trying it, but failed. That's how i started developing my interest towards CG Even though my grades in school were good enough I looked for a career that involves learning something new. After a lot of research, I found an article about art and animation , I was convinced to join VFX studio and the next step was to 3dsense Media School.

I've have been drawing and creating monsters practically all my life, so to me working in this industry feels like a calling more than anything else. Video games have been a large part of my life from a very young age and are something that I am very passionate about so I naturally gravitated towards them as an outlet for creativity.

It all started from my childhood and the beautiful game Mortal Kombat 3 for Sega console. "How do artists create such stunning characters?" This was always the biggest question in my mind.

I've always been interested in art and animation/games but was unsure of how to pursue it as a career. I enjoyed drawing landscapes and making game skins as a hobby, and 2 years ago I luckily had the time and resources to start studying with Think Tank Training Centre. I recently completed the Asset Creation program and have experience creating full scenes in both the film and games workflows
