Round of applause for our sponsors

I’ve always been interested in making art but I didn’t know I could use my art skills to become an game artist until recently because of a school I went to. Now I’m a inspiring game artist studying at TGA. Please contact me at [email protected]

Started out my journey through studying Game Design and 3D Graphics for Games in highschool back in 2015, did a 6 month internship at Pathos Interactive in 2019-2020. Now I'm studying at The Game Assembly in Malmö and haven't regretted a thing!

I want to create environments with compelling storytelling for people to enjoy. As a fan and player of "The Last of Us" I have always been impressed by the compelling narrative woven into those environments. I specialize in environment and prop creation and am committed to creating exemplary work. I’m always excited about learning new things, technology, and efficient work routes.

Started creating mods for games at an early age and it just sky rocketed from there! Currently a student at The Game Assembly in Malmö!

I knew this career path was the right one for me when I was 22 and discovered that this was something you could do as a job. I started just learning stuff by myself, getting into maya and zbrush. When I was 25 I applied to The game assembly because I felt I needed more to improve then what I could give myself, and I got in. Now I start work as an External Art Lead at Pieces Interactive in september after a good almost 2 years at Ghost as a Junior Vehicle Artist.

With great curiosity I take on new challenges, and I love to learn new things. I have an eye for details, and I love to share my honest feedback with others. I often take initiative and I like to help develop and maintain a good structure and workflow between disciplines. I often experiment and try out new and different solutions. I like to laugh, and I want everyone to feel relaxed around me. My area of focus is VFX/shaders in both node networks and HLSL.

I have always been creative but never really found the right medium. My girlfriend found Level Desgin at The Game Assebly and now, almost two years later, this is my life calling. I really love what I am doing and could not be in a better place!

Thats a bit private isn't it?

Applied to The Game Assembly 2017 and don't regret it one bit :)

When I started Highshool I found a school that taught game programming and found it interesting.

In 2015 I began studying Game Art in high school and after I got to use Maya for the first time I became addicted and saw polygons everywhere I went for a month. I messed around with 3D all the time and, after graduating, I started pursuing it as a career.

Around 10 years old, growing up with cartoons and and DVD's going to the cinema was always something I cherished. So one day after seeing my still favorite movie (Legend of the Guardians - The Owls of Ga'hoole 2010) in theater for the first time I remember thinking to myself: "I know what I wanna do".

I really liked video games since I was just a little girl. Although for some reason for a very long time I didn't realize this could be a career. So it took me to senior high school to realize that I really want to work with something that always facinated me.

3D artist with a passion for storytelling. I'm an creative problem solver that loves to tackle the technical sides of art. Coming from a background in traditional art I use my experience to make graphics with believable aesthetics.

When we applied to study at The Game Assembly.

for 4 years ago

When I realiesed you could make games.

when i played red dead redemption for the first time

When I heard from my older brother that Sweden actually had one or two academies in game development around 10 year ago, tI didn't take it to seriously. Studying to become a game developer back then was nothing big, as high schools really didn't advertise or encourage that industry. For me it was to either become an architect or a chef, but inside I really knew I wanted to work with games as an environment artitst. But now I am finally midways of making my dream a reality!

I've always enjoyed stretching my creative muscles whether it has been through drawing, arts & crafts, or moviemaking. I've also loved video games for as long as I can remember, and the two made a natural pairing!

I realized I wanted to work in creative industries quite early, probably around the age of 7. The thought of it never disappeared, so here I am at the age of 30 trying to pursue the dream job.

I realized when I went to High School that I wanted to become a character concept artist but later in The Game Assembly, I noticed that I got more art blocks from it which made it harder to enjoy the process of concept art. I found a new passion when I tried Zbrush, which made it easier to evolve my skills from a 2D standpoint into 3D, and felt like I reached greater highest in my skills.

I've been interested in making my own games since I was a child so it always felt like a natural career for me.
