Back then when I was fifteen and a passionate about drawing, creation in general, I was in a difficult period, full of stress and anxiety. My only stress-reliever was playing videogames, discover new stories, characters and marvelous worlds through that media and i realized that I wanted to be a part of it, to create what will help other people to forget their struggles and and have a good time playing a game that I've worked on.

A long time ago, in the 1990s, I dreamt about making video games and went to art school. Life and opportunities were what they are in 2000, and I dropped-off and went into the next best thing, a career in tech. The world then stopped with Covid, and I decided it was finally time to go back to my initial aspirations. 2023 has been for me one of the best year ever for animations, and I realised what I like is actually telling stories no matter the medium.

I’ve always been a big fan of video games and animation films but I started to get really interested in it and think about finding a job in those industries when I was around 14 years old. I started looking on the internet where I could learn 3D and I found out that the SAE Institute Geneva were at the “Salon des métiers” who’s a convention about finding jobs. So I went there and talk with them and that’s how I knew that I wanted to do 3D.

I realised that I want to work in the creative industry while creating 3D Architecture plans as a technical draftsman.

I completed training as a hotel Manager from 2018 to 2021. Gaming has always been my hobby since I was 14 years old, and I wanted to turn this hobby into a profession. The SAE Institute helped me realize this dream

Sometimes spending more time in-game exploring the environment in detail than pursuing quests and progressing in the story...

I've always had the urge to invent things, solve problems, make ideas come true. I'm not a purely creative person, but rather one that likes to combine this trait with my affinity for technology. That's why I started studying Computer Science with the focus on Visual Computing after finishing my 3D Animation & VFX Diploma.

It's something that came to me at a young age, mostly because of my fascination with 2d cartoons and the process of how they were created. As I grew though I realized that my interest leaned a lot more into 2d character designs rather than animation. Just the process of visualizing, researching and using my art skills to carry it into a finished conceptual stage felt more fitting to me and gave me more creative freedom when coming up with a design.

I remember watching Brave and How to Train Your Dragon over a decade ago, stunned by the magic, and thinking "I want to do that someday". University and my first job led me to science and tech, but I always knew art was my true passion. Remembering that feeling, in 2020, I took the plunge and signed up for a VFX and Animation course in Geneva, ready to bring my dreams to life.

I've always been passionate about creation in general and particularly drawing. It leads me to discover a game art school where I could learn 3d modeling and I knew from that point that creating for video games was what i wanted to do. Discovering such beautiful and intriguing sceneries and characters trough a story in a video games as always been an inspiration for me and I wanted to be a part of it.

I've always wanted to work in the creative industry, but lacked the support to pursue it wholeheartedly. However, I'm now actively working to provide myself with that chance. First by enrolling in a game and VFX animation course in Geneva where I'm gaining the skills I've always wanted to acquire. My ultimate goal is to see my name in the credits of games that transport players to imaginary realms and give them a break from reality, just as games have done for me.

Since I first got my hands on a computer, I immediately started doing editing, videos, design, etc. It became my main point of interest, and I and always tried to learn new things to improve everywhere that I could. I knew I had to work in the visual creation field as an adult. When I first learned about my current school, SAE Institute Geneva, I knew that it was my dream carrer path, and I'm grateful to them for offering this learning cursus.

My whole life I enjoyed playing games and drawing. When I was 16 I realized that art is something I want to do professionally especially in the games industry since it was what always inspired me. At 18 I started studying Game Art & 3D Animation at SAE Frankfurt where I first got introduced to 3D Art. Since then environment art has become my biggest interest and what I want to do. I love creating immersive 3D environments, realistic props and learning new workflows to improve my art everyday !

From the earliest moments I can recall, art has been a part of who I am. While I enjoyed drawing, it was the world of 3D that stole my heart. Exploring games, I came to the realization that what really gets me excited is not only playing them but also contributing to their creation.

I have always spent my time creating art so studying it in combination with my love for technology and animation was a clear choice for me. Being able to visualise things - anything, has always been my biggest inspiration and therefore working in the game art and 3D industry has always been on my mind, the question has just always been how.

I always liked to draw and going more into 3D was a no brainer for me because it's another tool i can use to realize my visions and create cool stuff. :)

After working in a wood house construction company for about 5 years and even in my earlier studies (bacholor's degree in wood industry) I realized how much fun it is to create 3D objects with CAD software. That's why I learned a bit with blender and 2D software at home, but that wasn't enough for me. So I started to take this seriously at the SAE Institute in Stuttgart. P.S. I love games

As I love movies and games, I realized on a random schoolday that there are actual possibilties for me to go there. So why not combine my interests with my work?

I always loved playing games as a kid, and now that I know Im able to create my own worlds and learn many new things, I decided to go into the game industry.

I've always been creative, drawing since I was very young, I travelled a lot and went to every museum with my parents and therefore had a huge visual library in my head. In the final years of school I took higher level art but was dissuaded by my Art Teacher to study fine arts. 3 Years of doing various jobs and attempting other fields I found myself applying to art schools (2020). Since then I'm at SAE Vienna, done with my Diploma and in the final stretch of my VFX B.Sc.

I started drawing and kept going and exploring and here I am! Striving to grow and learn more.

I've been designing garments and writing "Designer" in my friend's book since I was little. Art came to me naturally and as my love for video games grew I decided to go along this path and started studying it in 2020 at SAE Hamburg. Before that, I studied Fine arts at Bedford College / UAL, focusing on concept art. in 2021, I landed my first job designing and creating low poly characters for a VR Game.
