Hive Plant 

A plant of unknown origin that is the cause of the Hive Infection. Those infected get severe rashes after a few hours, a rapid growth of bone / flesh mass alongside a rapid increase in wax build-up through the course of several days to a week and growing wasp larvae which have been specifically made and injected by the plant itself. The 'wasps' are a completely separate and new sub-species to normal, commonly known wasps.

(Side note: I am still debating whether to have the wasps be carriers of this infection or not. I mainly thought of them simply being aggressive towards any living thing that gets into close contact. Although, thinking about it- it could be a virus that has a short lifespan on surfaces that isn’t specifically coming from the plant, so if the wasps carry bits of it, it has a set amount of time before the virus dies and becomes inactive.)

Healthy humans suffer through those changes until they die off and turn to Static Hive Corpses (Not zombies, it's a completely separate thing).
