Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I've always had the urge to invent things, solve problems, make ideas come true. I'm not a purely creative person, but rather one that likes to combine this trait with my affinity for technology. That's why I started studying Computer Science with the focus on Visual Computing after finishing my 3D Animation & VFX Diploma.
It's something that came to me at a young age, mostly because of my fascination with 2d cartoons and the process of how they were created. As I grew though I realized that my interest leaned a lot more into 2d character designs rather than animation. Just the process of visualizing, researching and using my art skills to carry it into a finished conceptual stage felt more fitting to me and gave me more creative freedom when coming up with a design.
I think probably ever since I was little I was obsessed with animation - anything Disney, Anime, etc. really fascinated me. I pursued a career in Graphic Design and Illustration. I think because I was a bit reluctant and intimidated by the idea of making characters move so lifelike and couldn't fathom how I can even reach that. Whereas, drawing came so naturally to me so I ended up doing illustration and Graphic design. But eventually, I couldn't resist and finally wanted to try animation
Having grown up on children's animated shows like Digimon and Adventure Time, I always liked animation and illustration. Throughout highschool, I developed an interest in getting a career in the creative industry and started it in University studying Graphic Design. I eventually moved over having found a deeper passion in Animation and am looking to specialise in Environmental Design and Background Art!
2017 I think. I'd not been doing art for a while, but then I started watching anime, and was immediately pulled back in. I kept visual art in my school electives, I got a Surface Book, and started trying to learn at home how to draw again. Then, I began to understand more and more how anime was made, and I realised that I wanted to be a part of that, so I started to learn how to animate.
I've been always a creative person. Since I was a kid I already wanted to learn all kind of arts, like for example being an actor. I had the opportunity to share an appartment with colleagues of the Quality Assurance department from EA Madrid, living with them got me curious about it, that's why I started to search more information about 3D art. After a while, life brought me to live in Germany and after have to learn the language, I could apply to the SAE Hamburg, to be able to learn 3D art.
Back in year 6, When I was sitting in computer class at lunch and on GIMP I created a 4 frame animation of a hideous creature moving its mouth and saying hello. At the time I was super impressed with it so as any little kid I showed my teacher which He introduced me to Blender basically forced me to complete tutorials but by the time summer came I started to REALLY enjoy creating stuff and ever since I have focused on learning 3D in general
