Sometimes spending more time in-game exploring the environment in detail than pursuing quests and progressing in the story...

Animation student studying 2D VFX animation.

I've always had the urge to invent things, solve problems, make ideas come true. I'm not a purely creative person, but rather one that likes to combine this trait with my affinity for technology. That's why I started studying Computer Science with the focus on Visual Computing after finishing my 3D Animation & VFX Diploma.

I first realised I wanted to work in the creative industry when I first discovered the intricacies of animation and how they could bring both people and stories to life.

It's something that came to me at a young age, mostly because of my fascination with 2d cartoons and the process of how they were created. As I grew though I realized that my interest leaned a lot more into 2d character designs rather than animation. Just the process of visualizing, researching and using my art skills to carry it into a finished conceptual stage felt more fitting to me and gave me more creative freedom when coming up with a design.

I realized I wanted to work in the entertainment industry after I started trying out blender to create interesting motion graphics and designs.

I think probably ever since I was little I was obsessed with animation - anything Disney, Anime, etc. really fascinated me. I pursued a career in Graphic Design and Illustration. I think because I was a bit reluctant and intimidated by the idea of making characters move so lifelike and couldn't fathom how I can even reach that. Whereas, drawing came so naturally to me so I ended up doing illustration and Graphic design. But eventually, I couldn't resist and finally wanted to try animation

I realized I wanted to work with games when I saw the potential they have, anything can be possible in the 3D world.

Having grown up on children's animated shows like Digimon and Adventure Time, I always liked animation and illustration. Throughout highschool, I developed an interest in getting a career in the creative industry and started it in University studying Graphic Design. I eventually moved over having found a deeper passion in Animation and am looking to specialise in Environmental Design and Background Art!

Covid 19 struck the world and changed everything for my previous industry leading me to finally follow my childhood dreams of working in the games industry

Purely out of curiosity, I downloaded a trial of Zbrush and it ignited my passion.

2017 I think. I'd not been doing art for a while, but then I started watching anime, and was immediately pulled back in. I kept visual art in my school electives, I got a Surface Book, and started trying to learn at home how to draw again. Then, I began to understand more and more how anime was made, and I realised that I wanted to be a part of that, so I started to learn how to animate.

I've been always a creative person. Since I was a kid I already wanted to learn all kind of arts, like for example being an actor. I had the opportunity to share an appartment with colleagues of the Quality Assurance department from EA Madrid, living with them got me curious about it, that's why I started to search more information about 3D art. After a while, life brought me to live in Germany and after have to learn the language, I could apply to the SAE Hamburg, to be able to learn 3D art.

I 1st discovered my passion for this industry around the end of 2019. I was mainly messing around Unity while I was doing a cert IV in interactive game and media, on which I found a passion for 3d modelling, which later turned into a passion for rigging and VFX basically technical art.

It was something i wanted for a really long time but didnt have the opportunity to study in this field until 2017, when i enrolled in SAE Athens in 3d animation and Game Art Production.

When things I made started working out somehow. At that moment, I felt that path was the one I would take.

I have always loved art and animation since I was young, but it wasn't until I was studying something I didn't enjoy to realise that I can do something with it. There are products I want to work on and people I would love to work with.

Since I was a kid i 've very creative, i used to make this clay chracters and a whole story for them, after that i started practicing to draw and now im here, learning and creating all i can

Back in year 6, When I was sitting in computer class at lunch and on GIMP I created a 4 frame animation of a hideous creature moving its mouth and saying hello. At the time I was super impressed with it so as any little kid I showed my teacher which He introduced me to Blender basically forced me to complete tutorials but by the time summer came I started to REALLY enjoy creating stuff and ever since I have focused on learning 3D in general

Art has always been tremendously appealing to me. I have been writting and drawing since I was a kid and I was fascinated by the art and dexterity of storytelling! That's how I realised, I wanted to get more involved with the entertainment industry.

When i started to create Intros for short animations back when i was attending high school

Then I was 12 years old and playing FF10. I was so fascinating from the Environment and I wanted to do it too and more important I wanted to make other people smiling to my work, like I did with that game.
