After dedicating five years to diligent effort and self-directed learning, I owe much of my success to a multitude of enlightening webinars, featuring influential figures such as Gennaro Esposito, Rebelway's instructors, and other notable experts in the field. Over the past two years, I've delved passionately into a new realm that captivates me. My journey led me to enroll in an intensive 18-month Master's program at the Side Academy in Verona. Throughout this transformative period, and notably
I first realized I wanted to work in creative industries when I was in high school studying figurative arts. Because of the pandemic’s lockdown I turned to the internet for entertainment and I discovered games such as Doom Eternal, God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn. I fell in love with these products, how they were able to involve, move and amaze the player. I decided that I wanted to be part of that, and realized that I could do that through my artistic abilities and hard work.
It’s not really correct to say that it’s something I realized, let’s say that it was a natural choice given the passion I always have for movies, cartoons and videogames after finishing art school. I was completely ignorant about the world of CGI and as I continued my path my interest and passion grew, not to mention that every time I watch a movie I can’t help but ask myself "How the hell did they do this?!"
I started dreaming about working in a creative industry while I was in middle school and my main interest were already art an cinema. I spent ages watching all sorts of movies, tv series and cartoons, trying to understand how those stunning and magical images were brought to life. Without even knowing I projected myself in a future were I was part of that world, and my vison never changed ever since.
I first realized that I wanted to work in creative industries when I finished Linguistic High School in 2021. After learning three languages I felt like I needed to do something more stimulating and entertaining. I had always been a creative kid and I loved to share with people what I created, also I am a huge movie fan, and working for something that a lot of people can enjoy would be my dream
I have always liked video games and the world of cinema since I was a child and I have always considered the idea of being able to contribute to the development of films or video games. I started using Blender 3 years ago and became interested in the world of 3D modeling so I signed up for the CGI course at Side Academy in Verona.
Since I was a child I have had an artistic streak for sculpture and creation, and for this reason in high school I then chose an artistic path specialized in sculptural and pictorial arts but classical art had not fully convinced me. for the choice of academy or university I reasoned by putting together my two passions: sculpture and video games and CGI came out of it.
