DEACON SHARK
This is a project I worked on as a student at Side Academy in my second academic year. It is based on a concept of a creature from the comic “Prometheus: fire and stone”. I am responsible for the modeling, texturing, compositing and editing of the video.
THE CONCEPT
As a fan of the Alien saga and the artist HR Giger, i had the idea to recreate a xenomorph creature as my main project at my second academic year at Side Academy.
In the beginning I was thinking about modeling the Deacon from Prometheus, but as i was researching material about it, i came across the concept of the Deacon Shark from "Prometheus: Fire and Stone". I really liked it, and decided to challenge myself into modeling something that, as far as i know, had not been modeled before.
