Round of applause for our sponsors

Throughout my educational & professional journey, I have gained experience in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Animation, XR & UX Design. But what captivated me in these industries was creating visually stunning CG assets & environments. Fueled by my passion for 3D art and games, I quit my job to pursue this path. I was awarded the Warner Bros. Discovery Access Canada's Digital Art Scholarship & I'm currently enrolled in CG Asset Creation for Games; Props & Environments at TTTC.

I first realized that I wanted to be involved with the creative industries when I was in high school. I loved the processes and challenges that came with being an artist, so I decided to dedicate my post-secondary education to learning about it.

During my last year in highschool, I found Blender and did a donut tutorial. Through that tutorial I was introduced and completely absorbed in 3D modeling and being able to create things in a 3d space. From then on, I really knew that this was something I wanted to do for a living.

The thought of being part of the thrilling entertainment arts industry has always ignited a passion within me, and I am eager to cultivate my 3D modeling skills to contribute to the creation of stunning animated films.

I wanted to work in creative media since I was young, but didn't realize it was a viable career. I had watched behind the scenes videos for my favourite games (The Sims) and as soon as I learned it was possible, I started my journey.

Became interested in 3D about 5 years ago

I have been drawing since I was 5 years old, and painting from 14 onwards. Visual art has been a consistent call in my life ever since I first picked up that pencil crayon 23 years ago. It was only this year after trying to wrap my head around how to support myself as a full time artist did the idea of this field hit me like a thunderbolt. My experience with Think Tank Online has been an absolute blessing and I am so grateful for the chance to learn and grow as an artist under professionals.

I have always been creating new characters using traditional and digital instruments. In 2020, I discovered the world of 3D art and decided to pursue my true passion. I believe that you'll be the best at doing what you love.

As a kid I was always either drawing, watching animated movies, or playing video games, and I got obsessed with Finding Nemo when it first came out. After working my 'regular' job in Japan for three years I knew I had to follow my passion eventually. I went back to (online) school last year and became obsessed with modeling and texturing. Been a happy camper ever since :)

I've always loved playing games and drawing since I am a kid. I had the chance to work 9 years in marketing and management in video game industry. When the pandemic hit, I rediscover my love for drawing and that helped reveal my passion for 3D and character art. I decided to change career and attend Think Tank online school.

Nothing makes me happier than the ability to create something out of nothing. Having both art and tech background, I have found love for 3D art and everything that comes with it. My goals are to set foot in the world of game art and learn as much as possible, while meeting amazing people along the way.

Since my parents bought me my first Final Fantasy art book when I first played. I was around 8 at that time and was compeltely fascinated by the weapon and items design for some reason.

I downloaded blender one day, and 3D was pretty amazing. I found a livestream at some point after, which was one of the mentors at Think Tank Training Centre, Jon Catapia. I would pop in there and ask questions and got really interested in the sculpting and knowledge he possessed. And now I'm here.

Sounded better then being a Lawyer

I'm 24 years old. I really love cinema and I want to become modeler/ texturing artist or a generalist.

I always spend most of my time watching video games, movies and reading books. Which led me to 3D modeling.

It was an accident back in 2014-2015 and so my self learning journey began

I wanted to draw art for videogames since I was just a kid, and my love and interest in art only grew from there.

Since I was a kid I was a huge gamer and my interest for CG first came through that media. Afterwards I realised I was more into film, watching Pixar movies and witnessing how you could tell stories while creating everything in the computer. My passion to create assets and to give them a background story through their textures started there and has stayed until this very day.

I was interested by the VFX industry since I was in high school That’s why I decided to study at ARTFX to improve my skills and to realize my dream to work on big movies

I realized I wanted to make movies when I was in high school. I never realized how big this industry was until moving to Vancouver and committing to dream of making movies. 2 years later and that dream is a reality.

I just randomly watched suggested video on YouTube and found some 3d art. And I finally realized that I want to become a character artist and participate in creating games :D
