Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I discovered my passion for creating 3D works of art when studying Architecture at RMIT University in Melbourne. While studying I discovered that creating the renders and works of 3D art was what I was truly enjoying about the work process. After this realization, I transferred into a 3D design bachelors degree and I have enjoyed learning ever since.
I've always been a bit creative and a bit technical, and have a habit of getting into different hobbies. However, one consistent thing is video games and not just the playing side. What I hope to do is blend all of my skills acrued over the years to create memorable environments that aren't just visually appealing but give deep and meaningful feelings to the player that stay with them long after they've stepped away.
After spending my life in theatre, I soon discovered animation and had a deep passion to combine my two areas of passion and make the transition into creative media - not really knowing where it might lead me to. I have been working in Graphic Design + Motion Graphics for the past decade after receiving my BA and am now studying my Masters in Animation, Game Design + Interactivity at RMIT University, Melbourne to finally follow the initial dream and end goal.
During my Certificate IV in Design, I knew that I had to become involved in the entertainment industry no matter what. Alongside my digital art, I also began practical builds such as props, collectables and miniature environments. Since beginning my Bachelors Degree in Game Design at RMIT, I have practised and researched concept art, world-building, game design, 3D modelling, texturing , 2D animation and more.
In 2021, when Covid-19 resulted in a global lockdown, I was studying Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree from Pune University, India. During that period I was keen on exploring animation and motion design so I downloaded After Effects and started with animation tutorials from YouTube. Continuing the passion for animation, I joined an Edu-Tech startup as a Junior Animator to start off my animation career. That was the time, I realized that I want to work in creative industries.
I've always wanted to work in the creative field, I can't imagine myself not doing something creative with my life. Art and self expression has been something for me that has been encouraged at all times in my life by my family. I love consuming all forms of entertainment and expression from watching movies, playing games, and exploring galleries, from a young age I have been wanting to create something for my own and love the journey of learning things as I create something entirely new.
I have always been passionate about visual arts and as I progressed through my school years I realised that a creative career was the best fit for me. I therefore enrolled at RMIT School of Design, Mellourne, to improve my technical skills and knowledge. I am currently studying in my 2nd year of my Bachelor's Degree.
I first realised I wanted to work in this industry when I was completing my final year of my degree. We were taught 3D software CLO3d and I absolutely loved working with the software. I thought it would be such an amazing industry to work in and I wanted to be apart of that. I really loved about CLO3d was pattern making digitally, placing on the avatar and problem solve fit and wear ability digitally as well as replicating physical fabrics and trims into 3D.
I was in early highschool when I watched a kamehameha in real life video and thought to myself I wanted to do that too. A little bit later on I saw a vfx breakdown of one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and found it fascinating that there were so many layers in creating a film. I eventually began learning Blender and found a new love for all things 3D from modelling, animating to scultping.
I started back when I was young and watched Toy Story for the first time on VHS. I watched the film so many times, I'd always ask my parents if I could watch it by sticking my Woody toy into the VHS machine slot causing me breaking it. Since then I've always had a passion for 3D films and games that push the boundary of technology and creativity.
2013, it was my 2nd year in my old course, industrial design. I realized I want to create and work on projects that have more heart and emotion. I fell in love with the energy and mastery of kim Jung Gi. The field with that encapsulates everything I wanted to do was Animation and I started a bachelor degree in 2014. I worked allday everyday on my skills and portfolio to get into the top university in my area for it.
Ever since I was a little kid I have been constantly drawing and creating stories and as I've grown both of those factors have only gotten stronger and more frequent in my life. I have whole worlds and characters in my head that I always want tell those stories that people will like with drawings and animations. I adore film and video games, especially if they really let the creative team on those projects go big. I want to be part of that.
