Round of applause for our sponsors

Since as a kid i was huge fan of movies and games. I was always interested in the 3D world and i wanted to know the way they create and make the art. My initial start in this industry was during my college years.

I knew from a young age that I would like to be a director and make film art. I watched a lot of movies. So much so that I knew the directors of the films. Then I started to know the composers of the same. I grew up in a modest family where you learned from an early age that success/failure depends only on you. Talent is in vain if there is no hard work in it.

One day the creative people at M3DS decided to organize an event called Game Design How to? which educates over 600 people yearly. After attending this one day event I already learned how to create my very own game in less than 8 hours with Unreal Engine. I instantly new that I wanted to continue down this path, and so I enrolled for the Academic Year at the M3DS Academy.

During my last year of high school, I realized that anything related to art would be my dream job. I spent my years in university expanding my knowledge about art and bought my first drawing tablet. I was excited to learn more about digital art and that grew my love for 3D sculpting. I had always loved sculpting and now I am fully dedicated to learning more about it and hopefully working in the video game industry as a character or creature artist.

I realized this was my passion when I attended a 1-day workshop hosted by the same academy I later enrolled in. Back then I had a really vague idea of what I wanted to do, something video-game/art related. I needed a way to get the ball rolling, and this workshop was the perfect opportunity because it was for absolute beginners. It opened up a whole new world, and I was determined to pursue this path.

I've always known I wanted to work in the entertainment industry, and have been dedicated to finding resources, and developing skills that would help me make that a reality. Coming from a background in Graphic Design and Illustration, my previous experiences have honed my eye for detail, composition, and storytelling, which I believe are essential qualities in crafting convincing visuals.

I have always been surrounded by art. My mother is a traditional painter and sculptor, working in different media, and with that push, I started my formal education in History of Art and Archaeology. This is where I learned my foundations, and I began to explore and learn more about Graphic Design, where I started to explore the endless possibilities of digital painting. As an avid sci-fi fan, I knew I wanted a gratifying and fulfilling profession as an artist.

Around 8 years ago i figured that out. I went to work for a CG company in my town and it was a fun experience. But, then i figured out that i want to be an illustrator & a Concept Artist 2 years ago and i really started working couple of months ago.

As a child I watched a lot of animated videos and played a lot of games, now I see things differently, now I want to make my own game or a short animated film. So I started at the M3DS Academy which offers those opportunities at a professional level and my training journey started there.

When I was 15 years old.

My burning passion was born the moment I started playing video games at a young age, from the level design to the gorgeous sceneries, I was hooked. I always wondered how video games were made until I got into the 3D industry.

As long as i know of myselfi wanted to be an artist. I studied traditional art for 6 years and then went to an art academy at the University of Goce Delcev in Stip, Macedonia. I never was able to find my style or direction until i enrolled in M3DS Academy, and fell in love with 3D.

Since a young age I was interested in visual art, which was one of the reasons I enrolled in an art high school and have my bachelor's degree in photography. While also in university I also studied 2d and 3d animation which got me further to improve my skills.

I first realized my passion for working in the creative industries when I was a child. From a young age, I was drawn to artistic activities and forms of expression. Whether it was drawing, writing, or crafting, I always found immense joy in creating something unique and imaginative. As I grew older, this passion for creativity continued to evolve. I began to appreciate the power of storytelling, visual design, and the impact that creative work could have on people's emotions and perspectives.

I always wanted to focus my career around art because it was something I enjoyed making ever since I was little. At first I started off as a 2D illustrator in my teen years but shifted my focus on 3D once I got into playing video games. The art form really inspired me to push my limits and try something I have never done before. It was rather intimidating but I took my chances and ever since then I have been improving my 3D skills every day.

I always was a fan of video games so I always wanted to know how they are made.

From watching 3D movies and playing a lot of games, I've always wanted to be involved in creating what I saw on the screen. I saw a competition/ workshop from M3DS Academy where there was a short 1 day course for 3D and at the end of the day the finished product was your own game. I went had the time of my life and knew what I wanted to do .

Probably when I was like 17-18 years old. I've always been a fan of animation, special effects, motion graphics, games. I'm big Disney and Marvel fan. I've watched videos of how my favorite Disney movie Lion King was made back in the day and I was intrigued instantly about the whole process. I've also watched how Marvel makes all the special effects, VFX, motion captions for their movies now, how 2K makes NBA2K and I made my choice of what I want to be and what I want to study.

Since childhood, as a kid with a very active imagination; I've been captivated by the power of creation - drawing, painting, sculpting, and so on. This developed into a list of different hobbies that all had one thing in common - originality. A moment of realization for me was having my art recognized and appraised in school - that's when I knew I wanted to create stuff that could bring joy to people's lives for a living.

Since a young age, I have shown a great affinity towards art, drawing, video editing, and video recording. I remember sitting for hours and drawing people and scenes from movies that I had paused on the computer. I have known since then that my place belongs in the creative industries. Therefore, I finished architecture college, which has taught me discipline, and gained experience as a graphic designer for several years before finding out that my passion lies in the 3D art industry🪄

I always wanted to focus my career around art, so I became an architect. Later on, a friend showed me some of his work as a 3D artist: character and environment designs. I got inspired and wanted to try to learn something about the Game Design Industry.

I am working as a creative director in my own 2D/3D department leading four 2D and 3D artists. I am drawing storyboards and following the whole pipeline that we created ourselves. I discuss lighting effects with my lighting artist and I am sitting next to my life-long pal with whom I’ve been making PC games with since we were 16 years old. I guess i decided that i want to use my drawing skills for something bigger since I was a kid, but mostly when i met my friend who had similar ideas :)
