Sony Z450 / XM Concept
Quick Concept Project that I did while studying proper UDIM tile workflow. All in all the model has 3x2 UV Tiles, I did still try to keep it fairly simple and not overcomplicate it. Modeled and UVed completely in Maya, Textured in Substance Painter and Rendered in Arnold Modeling: 5hr Texturing and Rendering: 6hr
Exploring UDIM workflows with Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter. Most important thing always is having consistent texel density and Clean UV cuts. This asset contains a single shader with a 3x2 UV Tile Size, all of which are 4k.
Usually rendering everything in Unreal Engine, it was nice to go back a little bit to traditional non real-time rendering. I absolutely love Unreal and how fast and realistic it is, but for now for photoreal Assets, traditional rendering engines like Iray and Arnold, which was used for this project, is still my go-to.
