Round of applause for our sponsors

I have always been drawing a lot, but it was when I learned about my schools existence that I realized what direction I wanted to go. At first I was sure that I was going to design and do concept drawing, but as soon as I tried 3D modeling, I absolutely fell in love with it! Now I just want to explore and keep learning all I can in the world of 3D animation.

I have always loved video games and movies. But it was first until I discovered that there was an education teaching 3D here in my capital of Copenhagen, that I just had to apply. I just feel right at home when I'm working with 3D softwares. I love it.

I have always loved working on creative things, and ever since preschool I have known that I would love working with films. When I started at the University I was presented to the world of 3D and I was certain that this was what I wanted to work with in the future. I love how you can mix creativity and more technical aspects.

I have a huge interest in videogames and computer graphics and I have devoting a much of my time next to my studies to learning to do both real-time and VFX character work over the past three years. I am extremely passionate about the development of video games. When I am not spending time learning and honing my 3D skills I love to relax by immersing myself in the games that fuel and inspire my passion for the medium. I always enjoyed being creative and it started out just with drawing horses in my bedroom as a kid and I began exploring more creative options. With my interest in games and general art. I began an HTX Game Design and after that I got in to 3D College.

In 2012 after some boring years at a trading school.. I wanted to work with something creative and i loved movies and games.

I have always been very creative playing with Legos playing Minecraft and etc... as a kid. And I picked up Photography and Graphic design in my teenage years. And when I was 19 I Discovered the magical world of CG. It started out as a hobby for me while living with my parents. and I really enjoyed it. so I decided to start at the school 3D College Denmark. And that's when I got really hooked. The environment the school gave me really helped a lot. and that's when I realized CG was for me

I love doing CGI cause it's a mix of creativity and technical prowess. You gotta stay updated with the newest trends, workflows and technology and it's a very competitive industry. This motivates me to strive for perfection and improvement and i've come to realize it's a lifelong journey, which i really enjoy!

As a kid, I watched the behind-the-scenes footage from Lord of the Rings and fell in love with the creative industry. At first I was torn between animation, VFX, etc., until I finally discovered how awesome making games is! Now I've devoted myself fully to the craft and can't stop, I'm fully hooked. Don't send help.

i started being interested in the entertainment industry, when i first saw Avatar the movie at the age of 9

I've had an interest in video games and animation ever since I was younger. I wanted to work towards being an animator, but I had no clue where to begin and who to ask for advice. In the end, I gave up, and started to look at other career paths, until I began to associate with other creative people and got inspired to give creative media another try.

I started doing 3D 3 years ago, but after a year I found a job in 2D and abandoned 3D a little, but I always knew that modeling objects with the help of various 3D programs is closest to me

I have always been fascinated by the archaic and mythical. Growing up around museums, I witnessed the creativity of our ancestors. That initially lead me to study archaeology and to work as a archaeological illustrator. However, I realized that my passion is to create, not only observe and learn. Working in the entertainment industry was always a dream of mine, which I decided to pursue after discovering the wonderful world of 3D and all the creative possibility within digital media.

Initially I started doing 3D modeling as a hobby after discovering Blender. I had always been very fascinated with digital worlds in general, but the element of interaction found in the world of video games was especially interesting to me. As time went on, the fact that I could also be a part of creating these worlds become both more appealing and realistic for me, and so I decided to pursue it as a career.

I have always been into the arts but I never had a clear idea of what exactly I wanted to do. During my studies in multimedia design, I applied for an internship at a small game studio as a concept artist. Despite me having extremely little experience in the field they offered me a 3D artist position instead. After a few weeks of discovering and learning 3D sculpting and modelling I started to realize that this might be the one thing I want to be doing forever.

I always wanted to work in a creative field, wether it was concept art, storytelling, animation or other was still uncertain. After I finished my "grundforløb" or first modul on my school, I realized that I want to make 3D for a living, maybe with a bit of animation involved.

I knew I wanted to do something creative all my life. Like most people I drew since I remember. I also made some amateur films with my best friends. One day I saw an interview of one of the animators, who animated Spongebob Squarepants (I loved that show when I was a kid), and since then I knew I wanted to work with films. My first goal was to be an animator, but I figured very fast, that I would go crazy having to animate every single day. And then I learned about the amazing world of 3D.

When I was 20, I was working a desk job and had no idea what kind of career I wished for, but I did have a huge passion for drawing, video games, and film. I discovered The Animation Workshop, and realised that even somebody like me could work in the industry, if I just put in a lot of hard work. I have now graduated, after directing our bachelor game project, Path of the Sramana, and interning at SIXMOREVODKA Studio, and I am now working as a background artist on Tales of Alethrion.

Having grown up as the son of a set decorator for feature films, I spent much of my youth on sets, in prop stores and in film offices waiting for my father to be ready to go for lunch or dinner. While waiting I always saw all the creative input that a film required and was impressed. Later starting to work in those offices myself I never stopped to be amazed by the hard work. After 5 years of applying, I finally got accepted into the CG Bachelor here at the Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark.

As a trained mechanic in my early days, I didn’t gave the entertainment industry much thought, even knowing it existed. I quickly realized that the life of a mechanic wasn’t for me - there was no spark and I was not going to be happy. I started my journey to find out what makes me happy. After 1,5 year going trough various digital fields I stumbled upon Truemax and the world of 3D - My first introduction was in 3ds max and I have never looked back! I found what makes me happy.
