I had a great passion about the combination of using math to create. I first wanted to go into my fathers footsteps and become an architect, but the one thing that always troubled me was the limitations. When I found CG and FX it was like a world opened up for me, it was like a switch that turned on. Endless possibilites of creativity and techichality. So here I am, couple thousand kilometres away from home and studying vfx at ArtFX

I was not a big Harry Potter fan like other 'Potterheads' but one of my friends was, so she always used to talk about Harry Potter , that got me interested to watch HP series, then after watching it, i was fascinated by the scale of sets and the creatures like dragons, house elves, etc., then i searched about BTS of the HP series, and found out that maximum times, it were set extensions and people sitting in front of screens doing effects.., that got me interested in Animation and VFX.

In 2010, during art classes and experimenting in animation with friends.

I've love animation all my life. At first I wanted to work on that, but about 5 years ago I realized I enjoy more working on games and programming. Since then I've been learning Unreal and Unity mostly with tutorials and reading documentation. In 2020 after saving up for some time and building up my portfolio I started studying Game Art at ArtFx Montpellier.

my first real realization that i wanted to work in this industry was at 18

I wanted to be a plastic artist at first. I went to college to learn applied art and I hated it. I hated the way I learned about colors, painting or art history. It was very academic and it wasn't a good fit for me. In Artfx, everything is based on cinema. Everything you learn is axed around it, and it makes it beautiful and it gives a purpose to your work. But when I first realize that I wanted to be part of the industry is when I realized that I stopped looking at my watch really.

When I was young, I've always used my free time to create images by drawings or video games montages. I think it's since that time that my passion was born. I always felt something strong when feelings was retranscribed in Art, In that way it gived me motivation to learn about CGI.

I've always been interested by images, landscapes. As soon as I got a computer, I was really interested by digital tools, starting in 2008 with PhotoFiltre, then later using Photoshop. I started to watch more and more movies as I grew up and I really felt that it would be amazing to work on them ! that I realized I'd like very much to work in Visual Effects. I'm now working at Folks VFX as a Environment/Lighting TD !

When I was watching trailers for videos games ! And when I started writing seriously my own stories and publishing them on wattpad.

Since my childhood, the digital world has never stopped impressing me. I'm always ready to create stunning visuals and improving my skills.

I have always wanted to work in creative work. When i was 18 years old, I entrance in a university of multimedia and web design and discover the 3D world. Then with the skills I learned at this school and my personal projects, I applied and join ArtFx.

Hi, I'm a Digital Matte Painter / Concept Artist working in the VFX industry. I recently graduated at Artfx School where i co directed the short film " The Volunteers ".

Around at the age of 16 or 17, I got to know that animation and VFX could be a career option. That's the time I made my choice to study digital arts.

Since I was a child, I dreamt about creating stories and having the possibility to show them to everyone, so after trying to represent them with letters in books, I chose to draw them... I think I understood it was the right way to go when my words weren't enough to represent exactly the worlds that grew up in my mind, when I couldn't stop myself to represent each others worlds.

Like lots of people in this industry I always had a passion for art, whether visual art, or music, or theatre.. But I realized I truly wanted to work in the creative industries, in the cinema or video games industry, when I understood that I wanted to give emotions through my art. I didn't only want to make something beautiful to the eye, I wanted to do something meaningful. I wanted to tell stories, to move people, to make them think, hope, dream.

Art & Games took always a big part in my life, artistic expression of multiple mediums is something I've been doing since I can remember myself. The desire to hone that passion into professional skills came the moment I discovered existence of the diverse selection of game artist jobs.

After acquiring my BTS in programming in 2017, I discovered the behind-the-scenes world of video games during trade shows and short-term internships. After that, I quickly realized that I wanted to be part of this industry.

I was in elementary school when I wanted to work behind the scenes of amazing projects.

I realized that I wanted to work in the creative industries when I was a kid, and understood that a name in the credits was a potential job.

5 years ago, after High School didn't really knew what I was gonna do with my life, loved the cinema and decided to go in a school to learn, but didn't felt quite satisfied with the program so I looked for a better school and there I am !
