Round of applause for our sponsors

Always had an interest for creative work and technology. Visual Effects quickly appealed to me as the perfect mix between the two.

Ive always wanted to create.

It started when I was 8 when I began designing car concepts and wanted to be a "designer". I loved playing video games as a kid and often wondered how they were made until Skyrim came out where I learned how to make my first Mod and was hooked after that. I started my journey by taking a bachelor's course in 3D game design.

In the post-COVID-19 era, I discovered Cinema 4D, igniting a passion for 3D design. This curiosity evolved into a fascination with UI Design, merging art with technology to create engaging apps and websites. It was a pivotal moment, marking my entry into the creative industries with a desire to innovate and impact through design.

I got interested in creative industries at a very young age, being highly interested in movies and it's special effects. I usually don't care about story, only about making things look awesome.

Probably since I was 10-12, but as you grow up you hear that it might not be easy living of your art and I choose another direction. But life is too short not to do (or at least try) what you´re genuinely passionate about. So here I am.

I realised as a 11 year old that the vfx industry was my thing after learning about the adobe softwares. I started working in premier pro and after effects, later on photoshop. As of today i work in Nuke for compositing, photoshop for image manipulation and Cinema4D for 3d work.

I've been a gamer for years, and have had a few ideas of games i'd like trying to make myself. This is the first step.

I first realized I wanted to work in the media when I was very young playing games with my brother. The feeling of joy, curiosity and fun when playing games, I realized that's what I want to give to other people.

I've always wanted to be a part of something game related, and I just love good graphics. Currently studying for 3D Design and Games Technology. :)

Been exposed to painting, drawing, art, films, video games, comic books and television my entire life. A passion so big, I wanna try to become a Digital Artist.

In 2018 I discovered blender. Swiftly I was captivated by this incredible software, where I could build anything! Same year I enrolled in a course called 3D design and animation at Noroff education. I learned a lot and enjoyed working in 3D, but I was curious about the process of visual effects and how 3D is used for this. I enrolled the Visual Effects Bachelors program at Kristiania University college in Oslo, And I am currently doing an internship at Saurus Animation.

During my 2nd year at Highschool - I started dabbling with 3D following an indie game in development. I made the choice to transfer from hobbyist to professional in 2017 and started a degree in game design, which now has transitioned to a degree in game art.

I have always wanted to work with games. Ever since I was mesmerized by Crash Bandicoot on the PlayStation back in 1996 as a young boy, I had an extremely underdeveloped and confused, but certain idea that I wanted to work with this kind of thing. Now, public school, family and job recruiters have all been giving me a hard time with this vague goal all the way until my mid-20's, when I had made up my mind for good that this is the direction I must take, no matter how much they disapprove of it.

I've always been creative about stuff in general, found myself without a job a few years back. Decided to do 3d art at some point, and it's been a rollercoaster of emotions, hard work and fun. Can't imagine myself going back.

Just a few months ago

Making was something I truly enjoyed as a kid, which naturally led to developing a love for 3D modeling, visualization and design. After years of being self taught and a year at CG Spectrum, I felt that I needed a stronger understanding of how things work. This resulted in studying "Water- and Environmental Engineering" at NTNU, making me familiar with the engineering mindset; improving my models and design.

Hi. My name is Julian Nguyen. Currently i am a student in 3D and vfx at Nord University in Norway. I am doing my last year at uni, where i am specializing myself in character sculpting. I got introduced to the 3D world by early age, but didn't start to study it more seriously until several years later. After i got into sculpting in ZBrush, there has been a nonstop creation process, and i totally fell in love doing different characters.

There wasnt a definite moment when i realised i was an artist. I started doing 3D in 2015, it became clearer and clearer after that.

I have always been interested in art since I was younger and over the years have dabbled in drawing, painting and sculpting. In 2020, was finally introduced to the world of 3D sculpting by a friend and immediately was hooked and enrolled in CG Spectrum's 3D modeling diploma. Following that intro program I enrolled in Think Tank Training Centre where I am currently in the characters & creatures for games career path.

Eager to make a seamless transition into the gaming industry, I enrolled in and recently completed Think Tank's Environment Art program, which culminated in a four-month 1:1 mentorship with CDPR's Kacper Niepokólczycki. While my long-term objective mirrors my tech career path—guiding teams of artists—I am currently seeking an opportunity as an Environment Artist to validate my skills and familiarity with gaming pipelines and tools and with time to again grow into a leadership position.

I’ve always been fascinated by art, game art, architectural visualization, animation, 2d art and everything in between. A background in architecture made me want to explore different ways to visualize concepts. So i've set out on a journey to learn more.

When as a young high schooler a friend with a camera started showing me what he had learned and we started making silly videos.
