There was a moment in my life where I had become tired of searching for my perfect board game, and I found myself muttering: "I could make a better game... Hmm. I COULD make a better game". Growing up as a huge fan of both digital and analog games, I never conceived that I would have the potential to create them. Then, after years of outdoor pursuits facilitation something clicked; I realised that my expertise in designing bespoke adventure experiences transferred very strongly to games design.

Since I was around 12 I started getting into 3D modelling with Blender and have varied my skills ever since. Since then I've studied Game Art at Falmouth University, and have decided upon specialising in 3D character art during that time :).

I realized I wanted to work in the video game industry 4 years ago when my interest in video game development increased and I decided to expand my art abilities by learning 3D modeling and texturing.

I've been doing art since I was 13 when and gaming has always been a big part of my life so when time came to choose what I wanted to do, Game development was just certain. I stumbled upon someone doing 3D modeling online and fell in love with the process so now here I am doing what i love.

At a very young age of around 12-15, sometime around then. Watching emerging and inspiring new art culture on Youtube and a new creative platform gold rush that is social media.

After persuading a traditional art/sculpting art career, I stumbled on 2d digital art and one thing led to another and now I'm hooked on exploring this field, it's exciting!

I started learning game development in unity in 2016 as part of an online project in a video game community in discord. Since then, I've iterated on my skills and gravitated towards 3D art - which I am now studying at degree level.

I was originally going to be studying 4 A-Levels at my Six Form, however, one day I woke up with the feeling that I should be studying something I'm passionate about, hence why I chose to go for a Computer Games Design Course at a local College. Two years of learning there I increased my passion and knowledge for Game Development, resulting in me joining Falmouth University to study Game Development: Art, still this day I am devoted to learning more and advancing in my line of work.

My interests in character design has always been a key focus of mine. Creating fast iterations of concepts for review and taking them further into production, experimenting visually and pushing myself to create unique, industry standard assets . I have a great desire to learn and refine my skills in order to be an exceptional team member and assist in making an exceptional portfolio.

When I was 19 I stopped wishing I could draw and actually started practising. Its been 6 years now and I still love making artwork. At first it was just a passion; however with the industry being full of such inspirational and amazing individuals its very enticing to want to be a part of it.

Ever since I stared making YouTube content in 2010 i knew I had an interest/obsession with visuals content and animation. I started theorizing production techniques and my interest and hobbies in the field grew over time. Eventually this lead me to study game animation as a bachelors degree. Now I'm quite confident in my character animation and production skills and I'm looking forward to joining the game development/animation industry and make some unique content.

Just after finishing my A levels

As a kid, making the worst stop-motion animations on my flip phone.

I come from a family of traditional artists and have always had a keen interest in video games and when I discovered I could study a combination of both of these subjects I jumped at the opportunity, I have now been studying video games for 6 years, both at college and university level. I now want to take it further and work professionally in the industry.

I've pursued art all my life, be it fine art painting, sculpture, wood working or digital art. I was always drawing and playing games from a young age, but i never put two and two together to realise that I could be using my drawing skills to create visuals for games. When it finally clicked, I realised all the art I had been creating and what excites me slots perfectly into the games industry and concept art.

I loved creative media since childhood. Games like the uncharted series and final fantasy IV spurred my passion for character design, and League of legends inspire my splash illustration work. I would love to make my mark on the games industry with my own ideas for future generations, as well as spread cultural values in my concept art.

When I started at college I really wanted to make games. As I learnt more about the process I found I really enjoyed character art. Been going that way ever since.

It started from a young age when I was playing video games and started developing an interest on how they are made and work. I started doing Art in college and when reaching University I wanted to take a bigger risk and do something completely different which was Programming. It was difficult at first but then I fell in love with game programming and have been learning and improving ever since!

I first realised I wanted to work in the creative industries when I was 7 years old.

I realized my creative potential after completing my A-Levels in the UK. I had always had an eye for fine art, however I had always had an interest in gaming. Playing Halo with my dad at a young age was always the best and funniest time. Realizing these two loves I decided to study Game Art at Falmouth University. Entering university I started to love creature design and the creative process of 3D modeling. Creating a 3D model where I could look at every detail at every angle inspired me.

I have always had a creative interest in the arts but in my teenage years I spend more time dedicated to games and thought the experience I had playing them I wish to be able to share that with others and thought the best way to to that would be to create work of my own

It took me until 2nd year of collage to realise game design was really for me, my programming lecturer was replaced and the new one ignited a passion for game development in me I never knew was there.
