Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I've been a fan of video games for as long as I can remember. In 2019, I realized that I wanted to work in this industry and bring some of the amazing worlds I've explored to life myself. Since then, I've been working hard to improve my skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and level design. I'm always looking for ways to learn and grow as an artist, and I'm excited to see where this passion takes me.
I realised I wanted to work in the creative industry ever since I started drawing at a young age, so I continued to pursue that dream. I have been studying art ever since, having studied Fine Art in middle school, later graduating with Games Arts degree and I am still drawing and trying to refine my craft everyday. I believe that with enough commitment and consistency I can continue to develop my artistic skills and kickstart my career in the creative industry.
I can't remember a time when I didn't know that I wanted to work with creativity. I am from Brazil and I remember that I learned how to spell "designer" at 6 years old (considering how tricky that word is, I am still pretty impressed with young me). That would be my answer to anyone who wondered what I wanted to be when I grew up. It got me more confused looks than anything, but ever since then I have been working toward my creative career, focusing in fashion.
I first realised my passion for the creative industries, particularly in fashion, during my formative years. Growing up, I found myself constantly drawn to the world of design, colours, and self-expression. As I explored various forms of art and design, it became evident that fashion was not just about clothing but a powerful means of storytelling and individuality. My academic journey in fashion design further solidified my commitment to pursuing a career in the creative realm.
I've always had an interest in this industry, being amazed by both games and films. But when I realised it was a possibilty to be able to learn the skills required in the field I pursed it as hard as I could. The experinces I've had, and what I have learnt in a short period of time have further ignited my passion and motivation to be part that industry.
I fell in love with video games at a young age, as everyone does, but as soon as I got Pokémon Black in my hands, I knew I wanted to create something as fun as that. I was a creative kid, but video games helped me understand what it felt like, and what it meant, to be a 'creator'. I want to work in the games industry so I can contribute to a fun experience that a person might have in their life.
The desire to work in the creative industries, specifically in games and 3D art emerged as a natural evolution of my interests. Growing up, I was captivated by the magic of video games, the ability to step into alternate realities and embark on epic adventures. This fascination extended to interest in game design and 3D art.
Throughout my entire life I have always played video games, they were always my escape from stressful times, and my way of socializing and creating friends. It wasn't until I started playing Arma 2 DayZ mod, Minecraft and the early days of RuneScape that I realized some of these games I love were created by very small teams, or even single developers. It then became a reality that I could make games too, and thats when I started wanting to develop games.
I've always have been drawing since I was very young. It was the thing I would always enjoy, far more than any other subject I was taught during my education. It wasn't until college where I officially decided I wanted to go down the route of working in the creative media and entertainment industry.
I did A Level Graphic Design and realised I wanted to go into the creative industry then. I then did an arts foundation course to help narrow down what area I wanted to pursue, and discovered a Games Arts course at my University. I have a passion for video games and think it would be a good area to pursue as a career.
