Mindhunter Title Sequence

MINDHUNTER Netflix Title Sequence 

This project was done in collaboration with graduate student Liyue Bai. The overall theme of this concept is alteration because, in the show, the main protagonists become indirectly influenced by the criminals they come across and study to the point they are changing aspects of their life like persistent smoking. We achieved to show this by building up suspense through close-up shots of some main elements found in the show. The mediums we chose to do it in were a mix of 2D and 3D done between Cinema 4D, After Effects, OctaneRender, Red Gaint, and Adobe Premiere software.

COLLABORATION

My part in this project was directing, 2D, a couple of 3D model assets, VFX, and editing of the title. My collaborator, Liyue, did the arranging and overall 3D scene creation, sound, and project editing.
