Round of applause for our sponsors

I have always been fascinated by full-CG movies in my childhood, but didn't really keep up on them. When I was presented "Frozen" in 2015, I hadn't even heard of it. I found myself drawn to its story and cinematography, which are simply amazing. But at one point, when the characters are thrown over a cliff and land in the snow, I found myself marveling at how real and good-looking the snow was. I asked: "How did they do that? How can I do that?!" That's where it all started.

I always wanted to work in the creative world, but only couple of years ago I finally had a chance to start learning 3D and since then it's my hobby and my passion and hopefully soon also my career.

When I first had contact with Photoshop in school and realised I wasn’t the badest at it.

There was never enough information. Be it the texture of leaves in the forrest, the way light shines in architecture, any type of handcraft or the technical background of programms. I love to deep dive into anything that can give me a better grasp on recreating real life in the digital world.

When I was a child I always loved How to train your dragon, and watched it almost religiously.I fell in love with the characters, story, and animation as a genre. Later, when I was 14/15- is I learned about the Bachelor Audiovisuelle Medien: I decided to work hard to fit the requirements, and apply there if I still was interested once I was finished with school.

I've been drawing since I was a child, and as a teenager, I started doing 2d photo editing, mostly for book covers and so on. At the age of sixteen, I discovered Blender and began to work in 3d, fascinated by the unlimited possibilities to illustrate my imagination: I was eager to work somewhere in the CG industry.

I started studying because I wanted to become a sound technican at first, but soon I found out about computer animation and fell in love with it!
