Two things I've always loved are learning new things and creating things that other people can enjoy. It took me all the way until I was 25, watching a VFX breakdown of Captain America at a Marvel exhibit, to put these two things together and hypothesize that VFX could be something I really enjoy. I wasn't wrong!

I was always generally good at drawing, it was one of the only things that I was naturally drawn to, but I've never really considered it as a career opportunity until I finished high school and started looking around for different kinds of opportunities and what I want to do next. And that's pretty much how I realized that I actually wanted to work in the creative industries.

I was a digital visualizer for architecture industry, which brings me to use Unreal Engine and with that discover a lot of new possibilities and the huge video game industry. I realize that there are so many amazing carriers to follow like 3D artist, concept artist, environment artist and much more, with the architecture I never feel completely fill in my passion but I learn a lot of things, so nowadays I am starting my path to follow my passion and my dream to become in a Video Game artist.

Working as a character artist and bringing characters to life have always been my dream since I started playing video games and watching cartoons as a kid.

In 2019, I came to Canada to study English. While studying English, I recognized a chance to learning 3D animation in College. I always want to learn making animation and working in the field, so I decided to go College.

When I came to Canada and did not have an idea what I am going to study, my friend suggested trying Animation program

I found my interest in this industry four years ago. Graphic Design came to me purely by chance when I visited my friend, a website design, at her company.

Since my childhood, I have always been passionate about cartoons and movies, leading my attention to learning drawing at that time. Eventually, I ended up going to architecture school, but I did not feel complete, something was missing. It was during my graduation, I had my first flirt with 3D software, following the path to the architectural visualization. Eventually, to be a better professional, I signed for some modelling classes, and from that point, I knew that was my calling.

As a child, I really enjoyed the different styles of animation being shown on the television and the immersive worlds they created. I started off really wanted to become an artist from all the different exposure of art that was around me I love watching cartoons and different shows for their environments and how immersive they were.

Back in 2000 when I've watched Star Wars for the first time, I got fascinated and want to be part of the movie acting, but I had no money, and in my country, there's no VFX program, so 24 years after, when I moved to Canada, I got the money and the opportunity to pursue my dream. PS: I did some job acting, BG acting, in some movies and tv series. (but suddenly not StarWars)

Growing up, all i did was drawing and image my own world build by me, that's when i knew i had to take matters into my own hands.

When I saw the Mandalorian series for the first time in my life, I decided to dive into the VFX industry.

During high school when most of the courses I picked involved art/ digital art.

I have been fond of arts since young, inspired by different shows, movies, music videos and games. This resulted in what I call my “itchy mind and hands”, which led me to start drawing as a hobby for years. Fortunate for me, I got my first opportunity in high school to apply my artistic skills and jump into new challenges in ESDA, where I learned 3D Animation and Modeling for the first time. Later on, my dedication and hard work lead me to became a part time 3D Modeling teaching assistant.

I knew I wanted to do animation when I was a kid. Somewhere along the way I got sidetracked. 30-some years later I'm learning, relearning and practising.

I grew up with drawing, animation movies (mostly Disney and Pixar’s), and other life action movies. Even up until now it’s still gives me this “wow” after watch it. Those moments bring courage to me to move my feet and start my path in this field.

Hi, I have started to learn VFX in school since 2019 summer.

ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to create something cool that everyone would see.

I've always wanted to be an artist, but in 2017, while attending an art fundamentals program at college, I decided I wanted to go into the VFX industry.

All my life I've wanted to do this, but only just recently have I had my eyes opened to the fact that something like this is possible for me. I didn't realize I would be able to ever learn 3D art, but I am growing every day and am learning at an incredible rate.

I remembered watching 'Antz' in 1998 and so captivated by it to the point I aspire to be part of the person who makes memorable childhood for generations to come in the future. I decided to enroll in 3D Animation program in Canada as one of the country with best Film and Game industry in the world. It's feels very natural for me learning art, 3d design, and it goes together with my passion. Now that I'm eligible to actually work in a studio, I feel more excited than ever to start!

I've always been artistic but me realization that i wanted to work in the industry was from video games, ever since I've been drawing and enrolled in a 3D program with my self taught skills at the time. Now that i'm finished school, I've been practicing and getting better. I believe I'll be at the point to get into the field but that's for the industry to decide. https://www.artstation.com/digitalpiston https://www.instagram.com/klaymdex/
