Round of applause for our sponsors

I started drawing as a little kid and then played games till this day. In terms of the 3D Industry i was inspired by the games that i loved to play and the developers that worked on them.

Ever since i could remember myself i wanted to be part of the entairtainment industry. As a child i drew a lot of comicbook characters and writing my own stories. In elementary school used to draw comic sketches for the school newspaper,in highschool i was part of the photography club.I joined in a lot of photography competitions in Greece and abroad and even some of my photos were displayed in the Cultural Centre of Athens.I studied in SAE Athens and i got my BA with Honours in Game Art Animation

When i was 17 years old and found out that i want to ''give life'' on my drawings and to make new thinks.

In the middle of my fine arts studies. I rolled out of the university and joined the SAE college to expand my knowledge and my technical skills on 3d art and animation till i graduated on dec. 2019. Since then I worked with some small studios and and offices .

I first realized that I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry at a very young age. I always wanted to work with computers, and because my father is a sculptor I wanted to imbed the art aspect of the traditional sculpting with the modern and technical aspect of the 3D environment in general.

My name is Mary Brokaki and from a young age I was enchanted by the world of animation.Τhrough my inclination to art and painting I discovered the world of animation.Drawing and Animation are not just a hobby for me but a way of expressing feelings, thoughts and dreams as well as an outlet from reality.Animation was a very early life decision for my professional career.Μore specifically the world of Disney is the biggest source of inspiration for me and for this reason my goal is to work there.

I have been drawing and painting from a very young age and I always knew that this is my passion. A few years after I attended Athens School of Fine Arts I realized that I really enjoy using digital media so I decided to work with 3d software. Since then I have learned many things about modeling, texturing and rendering and I have completed a few projects. So I hope I will get a job in the 3d industry.

I was studying Law at the time and realized that my creative side, which was suppressed for a number of reasons, had began to awaken again. It took some years from when I first entertained the idea of becoming a pro artist to when I actually enrolled to a local art school, but I am now an art graduate eager to join the industry!

I realised that creative industries could be my professional future after getting involved with XR, back in 2016. My strong, perennial interest in state-of-the-art technologies led me to expand my knowledge and attend the Unreal Connectors program. The parallel adoption of gaming technologies in the film industry further intrigued me to pursue a career in Virtual Production or other similar positions.

After finish the comic school

Since very young I new I was a painter and a sketcher, but adult life and work got in the way, so now at my 50ish I wanna restart.

My whole life Ι was creative, so I knew since forever that i wanted to work in the creative media. I have experiment with a lot of different techniques for my art and I am still on that journey.

About 1.5 years ago after some conversations with a friend about each other's future. Previously, i had some experience with photoshop & illustrator but my job then was on a completely different field and i was just learning graphic design out of personal interest. After the specific conversation both of us decided to follow our passion and see where it'll lead us.

It was something i wanted for a really long time but didnt have the opportunity to study in this field until 2017, when i enrolled in SAE Athens in 3d animation and Game Art Production.

When i was 16-17 i accidentally watched an FX breakdown and i was so amazed that i knew what i wanted to do in the future. At the age of 20 I've started by signing up to a College to learn the basics of 3D Industry, after that i started searching around about FX and i've found Rebelway and Houdini so my Journey to FX started on Year 2020.

Art has always been tremendously appealing to me. I have been writting and drawing since I was a kid and I was fascinated by the art and dexterity of storytelling! That's how I realised, I wanted to get more involved with the entertainment industry.

I've wanted to work on the gaming industry ever since I researched that you can make a career in the gaming industry.

Since my late years of childhood I discovered the amazing world of 3D arts. I have tried modding games, creating content for games in teams of friends and finally, I push my knowledge with every new project that I start. All this incredible experiences lead me to choose such a path.

One year ago, as I was writing my master thesis in astrophysics. I then realized that I spent more time doing and learning about 3D practices, than actually working for physics. I found out that doing 3D didn't seem to tire me at all, even after spending hours and hours creating something. I could finally express my ideas in a visual form. After spending all my years playing games, now it was the time to also make them!
