Round of applause for our sponsors

When I was younger, I was lucky enough to have parents that supported me in my discovery of different hobbies, sports and activities. The one thing that stood out to me the most was drawing and creative thinking. I loved cartoon movies and would challenge myself to create characters out of inanimate objects in my house or brainstorm unique creatures. This interest slowly turned into passion for the arts.

When I was introduced to animation films from Pixar, DreamWorks, and Disney when I was 2 years old, I started to draw. From then on, I just kept drawing and creating for the rest of my life; Whether it be traditional/digital art or Legos. I never stopped wanting to bring the ideas I had to life. That's when I decided on pursuing an Animation career. I could finally create characters from scratch and then bring them to life in their own worlds using animation.

I started taking art in Secondary School, and nearer to graduating, I decided to take the design and art path towards graduation.

Since I was young, I have always had a propensity for The Arts. As a child, drawing and illustrating were two hobbies that stayed constant throughout my life; they were some of the few things that made me feel so inexplicably gratified and happy. Creating art was my passion, and I always knew that I wanted to pursue a creative career. Through the years, this proclivity developed into a love for design, which the industry I hope to work in in the near future!

I first realised I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I was in secondary school. I was always very curious about how animation works and the behind the scenes.

When I burned out 3 years ago, but still found the drive and the power to continue. That's when I knew I was hungry to be in this industry, devouring any old doubt and continuing to put in the work and the hours.

I have always known for a long time that I wanted to do something involving arts. As I grew and continued to hone my skills in art, I had a deep passion for storytelling and understanding people, and how they interact and react. As such, the love of arts soon involved to a love for animation and film, and since then, have always wanted to use the medium to tell a story.

At a young age, I would fantasize about working in this industry. As a child, I would annoy my family with several questions. "How did they make this character move?" "Woah this looks so cool, how can I do that?" It may be cliche, but 'How To Train Your Dragon' started my obsession with wanting to learn at the age of 9. After graduating secondary school, I went to take the Diploma in Motion Graphics & Broadcast Design at Nanyang Polytechnic and it solidifies my love for Motion Design.

In secondary school when I was throwing around ideas for Minecraft mods and began making pixel art for it. After that I found that I quite enjoyed working in 3d with voxels and decided to pursue it as a career.

I love stories & want to inspire other people through media, like how films & shows that I've grown up with has done for me.

When I was really young I drew a lot by watching my favourite cartoons on TV, having a paper and pencil ready to draw the characters and not just fascinated by how the characters looked but how they move and interact with one another. I always wondered how animation was made so at the age of 17 I got the opportunity to learn about Animation in school of Institute of Technical Education or ITE for short and now I'm still studying Animation in the School of Interactive & and Digital Media.

initially i was really inspired to be a content creator on youtube who could edit in many ways that would keep the audience engaged and entertained. Down the path of visual effects i slowly learned that editing wasn't the only thing in this industry, you had 3D softwares etc. With that my first 3D software i learned to use was Maya and i slowly grew to loving the software.

Throughout my years of playing video games, I was amazed by the works people have done like illustrations, concept art and animation. That was when I realized I want to work in the creative media.

When I could suddenly feel very natural during an interview to my current school

it was about 4-5 back since I gain interest on the media, post production line. being in the filming student, motion graphics has caught my attention that allows me to go further and learn more. Ive been observing how people make use of motion graphics and trying to learn from them since.

I first realized after watching my older brother playing diablo from under the table. The action and goriness both attracted and scared me. It made me want to be a creator.

Since I was about 7 years old and i figured out I enjoyed making, designing games as well as playing
