Hello everyone. I'd like to introduce you to the various environmental projects I've been working on between October 2023 and April 2024 while completing my bachelor's degree in art.
Alien flower
Alien flower is a project created in zbrush rendered on unreal engine 5.4. I made this project from the end of March to the end of April.

I don't use symmetry in zbrush
Texture
I created the textures below in subtance painter
For the floor I created a material in subtance designer.
Unreal engine 5.4
I create a basic master material for the floor
I also make a master material for grass and add a wind effect.
I'm making a material master with as many parameters as possible to have more modification in the intance.
I created the skeleton, rig and animation in unreal engine 5.4 for the first time.
This is the first time I've created a smoke effect in ue5. I had to install the niagara fluid plugin. This allowed me to use 2d gas grid content. I then modified the parameters to obtain what I wanted and linked it to a simple niagara effect.
For the particles in the air, I created an effect in nigara using sprite 2d.

I created the biome vortex project from October to November. This project is optimized for games

Unreal engine 4.27
I'm creating a master material for the assets with a timer for the animated emmissive.
I have created another master material for grass with wind
In unreal engine I decided to remove the mesh from the center of the portal to make it an effect. I created a master material for the center of the portal that I use in a niagara effect. To animate the center of the portal I need to make a material function
I also create a cardboard shader that is also used in the crop biome.
I make the particles in niagara. I have particles that are for the crystals, and particles for the portal.
Finally, I created the effect in the center of the portal.
Coral biome
I created the coral biome from November to January.

Animation
I did the retopology on maya with quad draw. I did the skeleton, rig and animation in maya

I have created a master material for all assets in the environment
Algae are an effect in Niagara. I also did the bubble effects
I need to make a blueprint path so that my animation follows a clear path in the environment.
Crop biome
Crop biome is not optimized for games. I used the same shader as for the vortex biome. I made it from January to February

Mushroom cave
Mushroom cave is a test of alien environment creation using quixel on unreal engin 5.3. Only the mushrooms were modified in zbrush based on a 3D scan of megascan. I created new emissive maps for mushrooms and plants. I used a plugin to create water.
