Altération project

(School Project) Experimental editing work on a photography book.

Creation of an art book based on the project «Altération,» exploring the perception of reality. The book adopts the A3 format and features a cover made of mirror paper. The concept of distortion is central, expressed through typography, the subject of the text, and the photographs.

To produce the book, I used different systems to highlight the photos, developing them around my philosophical concept of the perception of reality.

The multiplication of photos and their superimposition evokes the reflection of a mirror in a mirror, symbolizing a cascading truth. Circles, squares and triangles represent the shapes that reality can take.

For the typographic work, the text is entirely written in BeVietnam with a light weight. Each block of text is then modified in Illustrator and Photoshop according to the intended treatment.

The distortions are also related to the photographs. They follow the lines of force of the photos, creating a harmony where text and images express themselves simultaneously and together.
