The little Kitsune-Mat

Here comes the final renders for my Kitsune mat. I loved her and I hated her, but here she is. It's been an interesting journey. Looking forward to do much better next time!

hi! this is my third update.

The concept has gone through some changes, due to the limits of the meet mat, such as the impossibility of creating a skirt with displacement maps. I decided to turn the kimono into two separate pieces, and I'm actually liking the concept more because of this. I still have a lot of work to do, especially with the pants and the base. I have to retouch the overall look, correct some things and decide where to put details and the folds of the clothes. I'm painting all by hand importing my drawings from Procreate. Hope you like it! c:

Hello! Today I want to show you how my little fox is doing. I'm having a lot of struggles and I'm trying to understand if it's possible to make the kimono and to make the head look good. The ears are also a problem. I'm painting all by hand and I'm sculpting and importing my height maps. I still have to work a lot on this! We'll see how it goes.

Hello! this is my entry for the new edition for the Meet Mat contest! It's my first ever contest and I decided to create a kitsune-mat, since I'm obsessed with foxes and I'm so fascinated by Japanese culture. 

My idea is to make a child kitsune dressed with an antique yukata kimono. Since it's a baby kitsune, she needs to have just one tail.

While I'm making the concept I'm trying to think of a way to make this idea come true, but I know it will be so difficult and that I  will change a lot of things throughout the process. I can say that this will be a tough challenge for me since I started using Substance Painter two weeks ago, but I'm ready to try my best.

This is the concept for now. I already know I'll be changing the face a lot to fit the meet mat... we'll see how it goes!
