This is the latest game effect I created, title is Charge-Up Effect - Meteor
I used Unreal Engine 5.1, and this is a screenshot of the Niagara System emitters of the effect. I separated four parts, Initial, shooting(rock), hitting ground, and flame impact.
This is the primary flame material. I made a flowing texture and multiplied it with the main flame texture. I added Subtract node and connected it to Dynamic Parameter so that I could control dissolution in Niagara System.
This is one of the meshes I use for this effect. I used this for the main object(meteor), and a few small exploded rocks.
