My 2023 year ! - Gabryel Aury Bacchieri

"APPETIZER" - 3rd year Solo short film 

Here is a short film made for school at MoPA, in wich I did all aspects beside sound ! It was a great experience and allowed me to learn a lot of things, and most importantly to learn how to manage my time and my efficiency in order to respect a deadline while doing what I wanted, and challenging myself still.

We were forced to make a 45 seconds short film under the theme "foodporn".

I wanted to do something a little gory but not too heavy to watch, So I started to think of something a little bit funny, without forcing the laughter. And I came up with the idea of a ogre eating gobelins as appetizers, all in a rather realistic style, and whose whole humor revolves around the rhythm and the progress of the storyboard, on which I spent a lot of time to get all of this right.

Being a fan of heroic fantasy, I really appropriated the theme to do something that I loved, and in which I really wanted to challenge myself with close ups on each of the characters, and really work on the details to achieve the most realistic result possible.

"ELF" - 2023 Greeting card

Here's a greeting card my schoolmates and I worked on for school at MoPA !

It was a very cool production. My schoolmates and I really loved working on this as we all were working on aspect we loved ! And we felt in love with the little character we made, the Elf !

I worked on the layout, lighting, and a lot of compositing. 

But I mainly worked on the character, on wich I did every aspects.

"SUPER HERO" - 3rd year school project

For that project we had to choose a super hero and either reproduce it in our way, or create our own version !

Not being a big fan of super heros I didn't know wich one to chose so I started looking for interesting and cool looking super hero ! (I also wanted to do a super hero that wasn't heavily represented, and once I setted on Moonknight, his show was announced ahahah)

But it was great, it allowed me to have more references of him and understand better the character !

We had to do everything, from sculpting to posing, including retopo, surfacing and rigging.

Once again, I wanted to challenge myself and make a very realistic Moonknight, strongly inspired by the one in the series, and see how close I could get to it. All the while making sure it was ready for production.
