Fantasy Character Designs
These are a few D&D inspired characters I designed for a uni project.
This is an early sketch of Grunk. I saw a reference of a man in this pose and it inspired me to design a monk. But I didn't want him to be a regular monk, so I took some influence from punk aesthetics.
These were some early concepts for Korgath my bloodthristy Dragonborn Barbarian. Originally I was going to cover him up more, but I wanted to show the pattern on his scales without it being to busy.
My favorite character to work on was Dahra the Dwarf Paladin. I particularly enjoyed designing what she would wear, which went through many different iterations. I didn't want it to be traditional paladin armor, since she isn't a stereotypical Paladin in personality.
These are some bonus concepts for an extra character that did not make it into the final group. The Satyr Druid. I wanted her to look a lot more soft and sweet compared to the others.
Thank you for taking the time to check out my art. I really enjoyed designing these characters and feel that I improved a lot from working on this project.
