Hello and welcome to my entry !!! This portfolio sums up my last year of work at Bellecour École. I hope you will enjoy following my art journey as much as I loved making the pictures you're about to see.

Tournament Knight

This was a character I created on my free time during my second year. I wanted to relax and enjoy myself by fooling around with bright colors and dynamic shapes. That's why I approched those rather proud knight and noble steed with a comical angle.

Fantom

This creature design project was made for an ongoing personal project. Fantom is a genetically modified police dog, bio-engineered to track down his preys no matter where they're hiding.

Iskra

Iskra is a character design project I did during a workshop taught by Anna Lakisova. The goal was to focus on realism and rendering technique. I was also tasked to produce one iconic item that fitted the personnality of the character I was given : La Mama

Creating a coherent character that needed to be believable but still cool looking was a real challenge. But I ended up really enjoying the process of exploring this character and telling her story through the clothes she wears as well as her attitude.

Allfather

As a Viking who wasn’t warrior enough to enter Valhalla, you decide to climb there yourself. Traveling from island to island in your ship and throwing any weapon you find at enemies and powerful bosses in side-scrolling, fast-paced battles.

Allfather is a student game project I participated in as a lead concept artist. I helped fleshing out the art direction, organizing the team as well as producing concept art and illustrations.

Weapon Design

As throwing weapons at massive waves of enemies was a core part of the gameplay, their design needed to be carefully crafted. That's why, in collaboration with the art director, we designed a big bunch of various axes, swords, spears, etc. I especially focused on giving the team the widest array of possibilities to choose from.

The final goal was to get the player excited to use a new weapon that looked and felt different gameplay-wise.

Environment

In Allfather, the player travels from island to island on his longship in a fictional archipelago located in the North sea. The team and I focused on offering various designs so that one could really feel like one is on a journey while playing the game.

I mainly worked on the second Island : a small fisherman coast town.

Advertising panel

I had the opportunity to work on a giant promotional poster for the game. I had to create a composition in a comic book style that reflected what playing the game would feel as well as featuring some of the main antagonists.

Designing a poster on such a scale (2x0.8m) was a real challenge but gazing at the final printed result was so rewarding, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
