The concept of Casa Patio is the patio as the central axis of the house. The rest of the areas converge to this one so you experience the feeling between the indoor and outdoor spaces and then lose oneself in nature.

My objective when creating the images is to reproduce different atmospheres at different times of the day.

The composition of the images has been studied based on this concept, always keeping in mind that the patio had to appear in the compositions.

Process

Firstly, the entire house was modeled having no more than a floor plan, an elevation and a section. The rest of the details and, the different levels of the volumes, among other aspects, have been made through the observation of the existing images and videos of the project.

It has been difficult to get the material of the walls and the facade to be exact to reality, so I opted, in many of them, to generate them by myself by making a mix of different maps of different materials and obtain a result as similar as possible.  

For the environment and certain elements of the structure, Forest Pack has played an important role. I have used different composition strategies depending on the image, the lighting, and the desired atmosphere.

Lighting in all images has been done with a Vray Sun and a Dome  light. This has allowed me to have more control of the lights and shadows generated.

Post-production process has allowed me to emphasize each of the atmospheres and sensations that I wanted to convey with each of the compositions presented.
