Diego the Mighty

Diego The Mighty was my first job at Skyup Academy for the maquette module in Zbrush. Above are the final renderings, below are the various processing steps to arrive at the final result.

This is the reference that gave rise to the final design.

In this puref there are references that vary between animal anatomy ( in this case of the tiger) and other animals that have muscle shapes similar to the original reference and various textures that help recreate the various skin and hair reliefs.

In these screenshots you can see the various steps. I started with the Zsphere and then the various modeling processes: from blocking, to muscles, to working on facial expression to hair. For the hair, I made dedicated brushes and alphas.

The choice of lights then determined the final result. The palette chosen was between purple and orange. Some references on the left.
