In a distant future, a unique competition has emerged: Bet 'n' Die. It is the ultimate interplanetary sporting event, where the most daring gamblers compete in an arena by piloting fighting robots, staking their honour and their fortune.

Bet 'n' Die is an FPS online game, developed by students for PC during the 2021-2022 school year.

At the controls of your ARCS (Approved Robot Combat System), fight 3 opponents in a spectacular arena. Gamble, wager, place your bets! Send your tokens to the Arcade Machines to collect weapons and bets, and try to make your gambling profitable.

To win: secure as many tokens as possible in the vault before the end of the match.

Our initial goal was simple: to develop a game experience that puts risk-taking at the heart of all its mechanics. This is how Bet 'n' Die was born, a 4-player Arena Shoot FPS with a central mechanic based on betting. 

To have a chance of winning in Bet 'n' Die you must therefore try to complete bets.

We have included 5 different bets in our game.

The best way to win in bet 'n' die is to take a bet, win it, and then secure some of your profits in the vault before you get killed! Otherwise you will lose some of your winnings...

If you want to increase your chances against your opponents you can also try to get a better weapon in the weapon machines, the type of weapon is random, but the more tokens you put in the more chance you have of getting a powerful weapon!

In Bet 'n' Die, players take control of their ARCS robot in the colour and symbol of their card family. They compete in a futuristic and crazy arena, at the crossroads between Casino and Arcade, all in a semi-realistic style. Enjoy the frenzy of a typical TV show, with the cheering crowd, an eccentric commentator and jazzy/groovy music with an 8-bit retro feel.
