Nitis Borirakpanich
United StatesEventually, I would like to become a showrunner, but currently, I aspire to become a story artist or a visual development artist.
Growing up in South East Asia, my first exposure to visual art and entertainment was through anime, but specifically ones from Studio Ghibli. It was August of 2009 when the film “Ponyo” by Hayao Miyazaki was released in Thailand. I was 8 years old at the time and this was my first time seeing a film being made in that way. Ever since that day, I've come to realize that art can be the most powerful storytelling device in the world and that one day, I too could inspire others to create.
