Postea - Concept Art & Texturing for Animation Short
I was responsible for the character design of an upcoming animation short "Postea" made in Unreal Engine 5. Since the team was going to use metahuman for the body and face I focused on designing the Costume Design as well as Mask Design.
I was responsible for the character design of an upcoming animation short "Postea" made in Unreal Engine 5. Since the team was going to use metahuman for the body and face I focused on designing the Costume Design as well as Mask Design.
The inspiration were a mixture of different cultures and religious clothes as well as useful cover ups for the head since the environment the short was playing in was going to be a desert. The team wanted to have a mixture of classic desert clothing with haute couture and long wide shapes. The animation short is going to be only in black and white which also was used for the visual development.
