Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I've always drawn as a kid, so my mind's always been set on being an artist. I made a lot of comics before I learned of digital art. Soon I was on to animation! I've fallen in love with it, and it's amazing to be able to bring my drawings to life. Now, as 15 years old, my goal is to work in animation in the future.
Art is the love of my life. I’ve been in tune with my creative side for as long as I remember but when I was around 11 years old, I started really taking on my art as something I want to do for the rest of my life. Coming from a family of workaholics, I thought if I’m going to put a chunk of my life, energy, and heart into a professional career, it should be something that I can passionately put a great deal of time and effort in.
When I was 10, I was introduced to Japanese animations. It fascinated me and I was immediately drawn to the art aspect of the animation. From then and on, I self-taught myself to draw, animate, and illustrate. In high I took a motion graphic course that introduced me to blender. Shows like arcane inspired me to work in the creative media industry. I wish to further expand my knowledge on 2d/ 3d animation, and be able to sufficiently utilize them in the future to support myself finically.
I realized I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I looked into development process of video games and animated movies years ago. It was always interesting to see how crew members worked together and the many ideas people made before deciding on the final design for a character or scene. I've been working on my character design and concept art skills and trying to convey a clear idea to a viewer of my work.
It was in my first Industrial Design course in my school that I learned about my passion for this field. Since that one class, I have taken 3 Industrial Design courses, 2 Engineering Design courses, and will be taking AP 3-D Design next year. On top of that, I took several product design classes on Saturdays to further my education. A catalyst for my design was self-teaching myself Autodesk Fusion 360. This allowed me to quick prototype all kinds of designs with perfect precision.
Animation and animated shows were my passion as a child. Recently, prior to Covid quarantine, thanks to a friend I rediscovered this passion: I ended up enjoying this media way more than expected, binge watching several series, mostly anime. The more I watched these shows, the more I found myself analyzing and critically appreciating the fascinating work that lays behind them.
