Round of applause for our sponsors

Always loved video games and started my journey with video editing after high school, which then made me want to seek out knowledge in Game developement.

I grew up with a huge interest for games and movies. I started using Photoshop around 2010 just for fun and my own personal projects and have been using ever since. With an interest in creating things, I applied for Visual Magic in 2021 and started studying VFX and learning 3D.

Art has always been a passion of mine and seven years ago was when I decided to start working towards my dreams. I began with photography and cinematography but in recent years I have discovered my big interest for 3D graphics. The programs I've come to really appreciate and love are Houdini, Maya and Substance Painter to name a few.

I've worked on creative projects ever since 5th grade when I started learning After Effects. It realized it was super rewarding to put together a polished product, so when I got into VFX, compositing got a special place in my heart. But 3D is also a lot of fun! It all is.

I first started working with 3D programs at around 17 years old after being introduced to blender and immediately fell for it, found a school to enroll in and have been studying/ímproving ever since.

With a passion for games and Visual Arts, I strive to improve and one day become part of something bigger.

I have always loved to draw 2D animations on my free time but in 2021 I started the school Visual Magic and I immediately fell in love with 3D as well. Having an idea and bringing it to life is so rewarding and motivating to me.

I've always enjoyed creative tasks, but it wasn't until High School that I actually committed to it. There I studied Media with 3D and Animation as my specialisation. After Highschool I decided to keep following this path by continuing the studies at Visual Magic.

I have always had an interest in creating stories, and since I was 14 years old I started creating my first 3D scenes in versions of Blender before 2.8. When I enrolled in high school my heart was set on becoming an architect, but became more interested in the 3D courses that my school coincidentally provided. After I switched to the 3D route I was hooked and enrolled in Visual Magic, which is where I am at now.

When I was a kid I started starring in swedish movies and tv shows and during this time my love and excitement for movies grew and grew, but I felt that being on screen myself really wasn't it. It was at the end of my studies to become a graphic designer that I discovered 3D and how many possibilities it opened. It formulated into a dream of working with film but behind the scenes, creating beautiful visual spectacles and to enable what would otherwise impossible.

After doing low-level jobs for many years, I finally made the decision two years ago to follow my passion and start studying to become a real-time VFX artist for games at Visual Magic.

I have always had an interest in both art and technology. I adopted digital art very early and I am a self-taught 2D artist with a fascination for stylistic shapes and forms, focusing on sci-fi, fantasy, and characters. I studied Technology in upper secondary school, where I found an interest in programming. In 2018 I was finally able to consolidate my dual interests by entering the world of 3D art through learning Blender.

I've always enjoyed being artistic, ever since a young age, and taken a keen interest in both films and games. A change in hobby to video editing kick-started my thought process of finally turning towards a career in the creative industries, leaving 20 years of sales behind me. 40 seemed like a great age to take a mid-life crisis and consider changing careers to VFX, made possible through the support of my amazing wife.

It was when I knew that I can actually affect people with my crafts. I wanted people feel the feelings and get the goosebumps like I did when I went to the cinema. To convey a feeling and/or message with an animated character in a breathing environment, illuminated by emotive lighting, all captured by a storytelling camera - that makes you feel - that drives me forward and keeps me motived to work in the creative industries.

I first realized what I wanted to do as a little kid. Me and my brothers used to create these LEGO stop motion short films using our dad's DV camcorder - it was just so much fun to tell stories and build new worlds with characters that lived within them. My older brother then studied creative arts before me and really inspired me to take the leap and do the same in a time of uncertainty.

At a young age I always loved to draw and be creative, later on In life I kinda gave up and had a passion for editing but it took a fast turn until I came back to making art but I wanted to take my passion in art and bring it more to life in a three dimensional way.

Having nurtured a deep interest in photography and visual arts for a long (long) time, I recently started chasing a dream that has been lurking for years, working with visual effects. Fell in love with 3D and VFX at first sight, and having a deep passion for games hasn't hurt my enthusiasm.
