When I was in Highschool. I had a love for design and stories. Especially how character design and clothing can be a major part of storytelling

I First started around the age of 14 with VFX and I realized I want to work in the industry around the age of 17

When I graduated for the study Architecture I knew I wanted to learn more about 3D and especially learning a broader skala of 3D then only creating buildings.

When I realised I could make my hobby my job in film effects. I then searched for a school that could guide me in this and bring me closer to this goal.

From a young age, I was interested in animated movies and tv shows.

I started of watching animated movies and got inspired by the technique behind them. From there I stared playing around with some of my own work.

When I was around 15 years old I was not enjoying High School as I should be. I dropped out before graduation to attend a study in Utrecht based around media & design. The study introduced me towards different types of design where I quickly discovered my love for vfx and film. This also increased through the years thanks to multiple internships in The Netherlands. Supporting me with challenges so I could expand my portfolio, finally resulting in my application for the Netherlands Film Academy.

From a young age, I've been captivated by cartoons and animated movies and was obsessed with writing stories and concepts for my own 'shows'. After finishing high school I almost gave up on this dream, until the moment I enrolled in 'the Netherlands Filmacademy', I started animating again! First I worked a lot on 2D animated projects and during my internship, I worked on CGI-animation. Now I strive to master these mediums to tell my stories and inspire others just like the pros inspired me.

I started doing photography as a kid, I soon started trying making more appealing images with grading and digital retouching. In the back of my head, I was always imagining how my pictures would have been if I could bring other elements to the scene, being able to create whole new worlds. So I started learning photoshop. After realizing this was something I really liked I started a study: Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics and after I went to study VFX!

I always wanted to do something creative but wasn't sure what. After an internship in motion graphic design, I realized I wanted to work in the movie/visual effects industrie. I want to tell stories and bring emotions to people and movies/VFX are the perfect way to make that happen.
