Round of applause for our sponsors

I am an Italian 3D Asset Artist. Creative and passionate, proficient in 3D Modelling, Sculpting and Texturing for Visual Effects for Film and Animation, with a good knowledge of the full pipeline, including VFX on set and Real Time. Mostly focused on organic 3D Assets production and with a passion for Creatures and Characters, able to create both photo-real and stylized models and follow visual references with attention to detail and good time management.

I have been interested in creative work since I was in primary school. I started in learning photography, moving to videography, video editing, and then slowly learning more VFX and production skills.

Hi, I’m Miya. I'm a young CG Generalist who just joined the Mill Shanghai this March. I love beautiful clothes and creating them in virtual world, doing simulation, all kinds of magical stuffs. Graduated with double master degrees at National Film and Television School (MA Digital Effects) and the University of Edinburgh (MSc Design and Digital Media). Talk to me if you think my work is cool𓁿

I first realized I wanted to work in the creative industries when I discovered my passion for designing and developing games. This was during my undergraduate studies in Graphic Design at Marshall University. The creativity, innovation, and storytelling involved in this field fascinated me and I knew then that I wanted to contribute to this dynamic industry.

Since leaving secondary school with a foundation in art and photography, I've always wanted to work in digital effects. My passion for VFX stems from my love for cinema and visual storytelling and it's ability to resonate with the human psyche. I love to experiment with different techniques and software, undergoing the trials of creative and technical problem solving. I'm a very patient individual with a good eye for detail and love to collaborate with fellow creatives.

2007 when I graduated from a BA Animation

From a young age i've been incredibly passionate about story-telling. This passion was fully realized for me on the onset of 2018, when I transitioned to working on broadcast television and worked on numerous documentaries. I have since developed my skills and am extremely passionate about the compositing / 2D pipeline and workflow and am seeking opportunities to learn and work in that field.

I first realised I wanted to work in the creative industries when I watched the Harry Potter films.

having loved film/tv from the get go, it wasn't until the post-uni period where I had the time to learn about the industry and all the creativity involved within the making of a visually stunning piece of work.

From building my animal crossing island, I realised my interest in sculpting things and environments.

I come from a commerce background and realised it was not something I was Passionate about, I wanted to make my own world and make others achieve what they vision and what I learned didn't do justice to it. Since I was a kid growing up seeing all the amazing make believable scenes, movies, animation and games. It was a sudden rush and impact that I wanted to create a similar world and feeling for others and wanted to learn the process , how everything sits and blends really well.

Film and TV always fascinated me and was a way where I could bring art and science together. While doing my BA in Animation and my MA in Digital Effects, I was able to explore what opportunities are out there and then develop skills to make environments I've always dreamed of making one day.

About 7 years ago and I started my own amateur web series.

Graduated from applied arts then from a directing fiction bachelor's degree in France, I moved to the UK in 2020 to join the VFX Master at the National Film and Television School. Now strong of experience with the whole production pipeline, from story writing to delivery as well as on-set experience, I am aware of both artistical and technical aspects of a project, thereby keen on the importance of the harmony between the storytelling and the visuals I create.

Currently I'm in my final year of a 2-year masters in Games Design and Development at The National Film and Television School. I've used this degree to develop as a solo indie games designer, and have strengthened my skills across the whole development process including programming in c#.

First realised my interest in art through my family where I was involved in arts and crafts since I began to have memories. Although through travelling and experiencing life style in different countries, art is a way to seek truth and beauty through studying and hard work.
