Round of applause for our sponsors

My journey towards pursuing a creative job began early. I find enjoyment in meticulously analyzing my environment and trying to precisely apply that knowledge into CG in order to refine every detail. This work gives you the oportunity to grow continuously while also staying curious for new technologies, which is what I admire about it very much.

I realized that I want to work in games when I was around 13 playing the Legend of Zelda, I just knew I want to be able to make cool stuff like that too some day.

Through friends I became interested in digital art and the virtual space. I love that you can bring things to life that don't even exist and make the impossible possible. This idea of limitless creativity, led me to apply to Kaiserslautern University to study Virtual Design. At the moment I'm still improving and developing my skills, but I can't wait to be a part of real productions and share my ideas with a team!

I and my friends filmed a short funny promotion ad for our school in 10th grade. To stand out against the competition I decided to add some basic visual effects with after effects and even integrated 3D objects into the shots. Looking back the film was terrible, but we won best film. That confident boost and the fun I had while creating the movie, was the point I decided to go in the 3D industry.

When I was younger, I used to watch a TV Series called "Star Wars: The Clone Wars". I was very inspired by the animation, the art and the storytelling and thats when I knew that I wanted to be able to create something just like the show I fell in love with.

It took a while but at some point I realized that this is probably the career path with the most creativity, with constantly new tasks that need to be solved creatively while still having a lot of freedom.

As soon as I watched my first animated film and found out that people MADE this.

When I was at school, I was already eager to learn my first skills in digital art creation. Also my passion for video games exists since I was a little boy. The idea of making my own games, developing characters or environments for games grew a lot after my exams. Now I`m really grateful to be at a university for that. Now I`m at a stage, where I want to enhance my skills in certain fields of development. It is still a long way, but I`m the road so far is incredible
