Round of applause for our sponsors

As far as I can remember, I have always been interested in the unknown or unreal. When I first discovered motion design, it made me realize the endless possibilities that could be created through art and design. The unknown was put right at my finger tips, and it could then become a reality. I love knowing that motion design is a way to explore, create, and enhance new worlds. Since starting in the industry and learning so many skills, I have enjoyed growing as a person, and a designer.

I knew I wanted to pursue a career in art, specifically in the entertainment industry from a young age and made it my mission to study Game Art at Ringling College. I am passionate in staging and story telling through the layout and design of environments, focusing on even the smallest details that establish the believability of the world and the characters within it. I am captivated by the idea that art is more than design, but rather a whole experience and a means of communication

When I was very young! I had trouble focusing in school, and art was always where I ended up. I didn’t know that I wanted to do it professionally until COVID when everything got all shook up. I realized that even when everything stopped, art kept going. Creatives were very important during that time.

Ever since I was a kid I loved to draw and found inspiration in my favorite cartoons. I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in the arts but I wasn't sure what path I should take until I found out I could be an animator. Ever since then, everything I do has been to work hard to make my dream of becoming a character animator in feature films.

I grew up watching animated films and drawing the characters. When I discovered that I could pursue a career in making animated films, I knew that I wanted to enter the animation industry.

It was at the end of High School that I realized that Animation is a field where art and technology work together and is something I want to learn ahead.

I grew up in the SF Bay Area, and as such we always had a Pixar movie playing at my house. I remember when I first discovered the special features on each DVD, and I became obsessed! From then on I knew I wanted to be apart of the magic that is animation.

All my life!! But my parents were not supportive, so I joined the military and served two combat deployments. After honorable discharge, I worked for the State Department for a few years before I finally pursued my dream of getting a BFA.

I have always found the most joy in immersing myself in the fictional worlds of animated movies so when I continued to pursue higher education, I strived to learn everything I could to one day work on one of these fantastical films.

In high school, I played on the volleyball team and was greatly inspired by an animated series about the sport. The characters' personalities and qualities deeply resonated with me, motivating me to create inspiring stories that energize others.

I've been very interested in animation since I was in elementary school, I drew animated characters in my textbooks and wrote stories for them.

I realized that I wanted to work in the creative industry when I discovered that it was my longest-lasting interest. By nature, I get bored easily. Because of this, I have always tried to experience new things so I can keep myself busy and stay engaged. Before I knew it, creating had become a constant in my life.

I always wanted to become an artist, but when I was young I wasn't sure what artist will do. Like money will just came out of some where when artist hit that time. But during senior high school year was the first time that I was actually seat down with myself and think which career path I should go with, I just realized all the visual development that either animation or game industry give or inspired my art is so much that I was like I should be a concept artist and that is my life goal since.

Art has always been my constant companion, but I pursued an accounting career first despite being unsatisfied with this path. After years of soul-searching, I returned home to my true passion for art. When this realization came, I became desperate to share stories in my imagination through animation, a medium I have always deeply admired for its ability to transport viewers into wonderous universes. Thus, I began pursuing this dream by attending Ringling College and working at DreamWorks.

I realized I wanted to work in creative industries when I was around sixteen and forced to choose a path, finding myself falling back to art and animation. I was enamored by the strange hold it had over me, and I want to replicate the comfort, awe, and invention it brought and continues to bring in me.

The first time I watched an animated movie I was in awe of the creativity and passion that went into it to bring these ideas to life. I knew that one day I wanted to use digital art to tell my own stories and hopefully inspire future artists as others' work has inspired me.

I’ve loved to create art in motion for as long as I can remember. As I’ve grown, I’ve connected with animation specifically through the films and TV shows I’ve watched over the years. I pull inspiration from the world around me for my animated work, but find ways to twist it into something fun and even fantastical. Art is most enjoyable to me when I’m able to create something that feels unique, yet still comfortingly familiar.

From a young age I had always had a fond love for art from games to anime enjoyed it all however my country of birth didn't prioritize art, so I never considered it a viable career path. However, after spending time on platforms like YouTube and Instagram and observing people teaching themselves and creating art despite their circumstances, I realized that there are endless possibilities in this large creative web, which made me start taking art as a more serious option in life.

Probably when I first picked up the pencil and started drawing on the back of my homework in the 2nd grade.

I knew since kindergarten that I wanted art to be a big part of my life, but it was around freshman year of high school when I made the distinction of it being a career rather than a hobby. I decided then to push to improve my work and try to make my way into creative industries. In junior year of high school I remember seeing Spider-Verse and at that point I really decided that computer animation and the cg pipeline was what I wanted to pursue.

From a young age I have always been fascinated by the intersection between art and science. My work stems from my background as a fine artist growing up in London and combines a textural aesthetic with a purposeful concept. I create art inspired by my surroundings, experiences and love for exploration and future tech.

I always loved art, but it wasn't until my freshman year of high school that I decided to pursue it as a career.
