Round of applause for our sponsors

Always been playing around with editors but it took off when I tried Unity for the first time about four years ago.

I've had a passion for games ever since I was young but it wasn't until recently that I realised that it's an industry that I could actually work in myself. After this realisation I started working on my application test and can happily say that I got accepted as a Game Designer at PlaygroundSquad in 2021!

When I saw an application for a Game Dev high school in my hometown, that is when I realized that I can turn my love for games and passion for art into a career! Since then I've studied and worked to improve my craft as much as possible!

After a childhood spent mostly indoors and playing games I got introduced to the world of game creation and development. Finding my spark through online creators and their experience, which took me to were I am just right now.

I realized as i started to play around in blender at the end of 2020 that it was not only fun but i had a drive to learn more and have been learning as much as i possibly can since!

I first realised that I wanted to work with making games at the age of 14. I finally saved up enough money to buy myself a PS4 and finally got the chance to play some of the amazing games that I had watched some of my favorite youtubers play. My interest grew tremendously over time, and I am now on my journey to make my dream a reality.

Gamer at heart since 3 years old, in 2008 I discovered the world of modding and started building custom maps for Star Wars: Jedi Academy, and then moved to Half-Life 2 (and other Source engine games). Building environments has been a creative outlet & passion that slowly developed into what I love doing today. Once I found out tools such as UE4 was publicly available with resources for learning, I found the desire to be part of studios to bring environments to life, for the games I love.

I first realised I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I enrolled at a university, planning to study only cinematography, but by accident my classes were merged with the moving images/animation courses and that is how my interest for animation begun.

I did art as a hobby but found 3D when i started highschool at the age of 16!

since middle school

I've probably always known, but did not dare to do anything about it until recently.

After graduating the International Baccalaureate program studying mainly science subjects, I decided to pursue my long-time dream to attend an art school. Being introduced to Maya when I was studying Arts in Eskilstuna Folkhögskola piqued my interest in 3D animation as it is a combination of both physics and creativity.

When I started my gymnasium LBS!

For as long as i can remember! After being exposed to animated shows and video games at a young age i knew I wanted to develop games and work with entertainment.

I've been working with pixel art and pixel animation roughly since 2016 but felt like I wanted to branch out to other mediums as well. I got into 3D modeling two years later and started playing around with 3D animation a year after that and since then I haven't looked back. I've just always been very intrested in watching things and how they move, the motion in people and animals; both in real life as well as in movies and games. So to be able to bring that to life by myself is pretty amazing.

I've been working as a professional photographer since 2016 and later got interested in lighting and VFX in games.

When the other sections of programming weren't enough of a challenge / stale, that's when i realized that game and application development is for me!

Since I started my first game which was age of empires 2

I’ve always loved to entertain people!

It was about a year ago that I realised I was interested in the games industry! With a background in 2d illustration and graphic design I had a basic foundation to stand on when it came to working in 3D. So far it's been fun and very challenging, but I'm determined to keep goping to improve my artistry and skill!

I've always had a love for creative media, but I only realized it's what I want to spend my life doing when I was in high-school. This being because my high-school had a close relationship with Playground Squad, where I now study.

When I was pretty young around 12 years old.
