Round of applause for our sponsors

Generally i've always been a creative. Playing video games and the stories that they were in are my biggest inspirations really. Just being able to create an entire compelling story and characters and worlds. Overall i wanted to show people what i can create and it's been around 8 years now since i figured this out.

When I was decently young I realised that generally, I was much more skilled in drawing compared to anything else I had been doing. Around the age of 14 I thought of possible career paths I wouldn't mind going down and drawing/creative based careers seemed the most appealing as it was a field that I was interested in.

since I was a lil fetus :>

I first realised i wanted to work in the creative industry back in primary school when i learned how animation was made, it made me think about the storys i could tell within that medium and the desire to make my own series drove me to eventually start my studying.

Ever since I was little, I have always been fascinated by art, drawing, media and expressing myself. From prep to graduation, I would always carry a sketchbook in my hand. My childhood dream jobs were never typical, I once wanted to be a tattoo artist, DJ, voice actor, animator, storyboard artist, concept artist, comic artist and a ninja turtle.

I found that out when just doing some role play and I realized that I could use them to make a story about this. so that's what got me into the creative industry to create something that I could be proud of and show it off to everyone

I've known for years, but never done anything to try. I've liked dragon as a kid and still love them, so I've wanted to tell the tale of dragons for years.

Since I was in High School I have had a keen interest in working in this area. I have previously studied Graphic Design and Fine Arts and have done professional work as a graphic designer for over 10 years.

When I was A kid I was heavily imaginitive, the moment I saw some of the epic visuals in Kingdom hearts I was taken, I wanted to go on my own adventure and I wanted to show people my story so that they can also be inspired.

Ive loved the video game industry since I was a little fella and always knew I wanted to be involved.

I have loved creating for as early as I can remember! I have always enjoyed drawing, storytelling and worldbuilding; if there's a scrap of paper near me at any time I will probably be trying to draw on it. I was the type of child that drove my mum mad drawing on the walls!

I think the thing that made me want to try and get some form of work in the creative industry were my friends and family, they've always said that I have something for art and having work that utilises that would be amazing. However for the longest time I've always thought of my art skills as a form of hobby, not as a full time paid job opportunity where you get told what to do and deliver. But you know, I've never had an opportunity to try yet.

I realized that I wanted to work in the creative industry when I found out what could be done with digital art and trying out animation for the first time.

Creating something with my own abilities has always been a passion of mine. I love seeing people being able to share their creations though different types of media. Music, art, performing, etc. It created a spark in me and I learned to love it. But i didn't just wanted to watch and admire from a far, I wanted to be a part of it, making me become a part of the creative and entertainment industry.

Before I cam to JMC Academy, I was studying Business at Western Sydney University for one year and I did not enjoy it all. I only went there because I just wanted to do something that I thought would make me a lot of money but I had little to no motivation. So I realised that I just wanted to do something that I love, and playing games obviously being one of them I became intrigued with the thought of being a game designer.

When I was in high school, I enjoyed doing animation in After Effects which made me want to keep on bringing subjects to life and make the audience entertained. Regarding concept design, photobashing and digital art got me into this at the first place which lead me to have desire to create authentic characters and environments that no audience ever saw. I want to them so hopefully those arts can bring to life regarding on animation and story telling.

I wanted to join in the industry just so I can share my creative freedom. I have so many different characters I've created over the years and I want to express my stories about them and the themes, challenges and story elements I have put into.

around 2019 when my friend in my architecture course said you should do that for a living. and so I decided to do an animation course.
