I have always wanted to work in the creative industry doing art or music. In college, I found out about a creative media and animation course where I found a love for animation and 3D art.

Ever since I was a kid I've had an interest in animation and cartoon. This evolved into a passion where I would spend most my afternoons creating 2D animations in Adobe Flash and Gimp. As the industry grew more towards 3D and CGI, thats where I set my sight as well. After I graduated from college I wanted to take it further and evolve me abilities. That's when I decided I wanted to study 3D Animation in University.

It was in my college years when I decided to follow this path. I always enjoyed CGI in movie but never thought about making them myself until I applied to uni.

I started off drawing when I was pretty young and always wanted to do something with art. In high school I started to get interested in video games so myself and a friend decided we would give it a try, during this time I taught myself Cinema 4D and really started to enjoy working in 3D and creating something that otherwise would not exist. During this time was when I realised I wanted to work in the industry.

I first realised I wanted to work in the creative industry, during my first playthrough of the original "Metal Gear Solid". My tiny 10-year-old mind lacked the understanding of how 'Psyco Mantis' was able to read my save data. That curiosity of how Kojima created his games, lead to me to wanting to learn more.

Was always amazed at the art I was looking at in the video games I played from a young age and was interested to learn how that was done. I started getting my hands on tutorials and software to learn to model in 3D and texture. I was also interested in architecture and studied it for a bit but I found myself trying to bring those buildings to life with 3D models and renders and thus continued on as a student at USW in the Game Art course.

When I was 4 I watched a documentary about how they made Ice Age. I didn't understand what they were doing, but they were surrounded by drawings, sculptures and cartoons. It looked like a great place to be an adult, getting to act like a kid. I like to think I understand the process atleast a little bit better now.

Part of the way through secondary school, when I started to become interested in the art that goes into games and films, I realised that this was something that gripped my interest in ways that very few subjects had before. When it came time to look at whether I wanted to go to university, I decided to look into courses that would teach me the skills I needed in order to go into 3D - 5 years later and there's a lot I've learned.

I have always enjoyed acting, drawing and story telling. I felt Animation was a great combination of all these and loved that I used all my hobbies and talents.

I've known that I've wanted to work in the creative industries ever since watching my all time favourite film, Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight". It was then that I realised I had a passion for storytelling and decided to combine my love for film with my artistic skills and began pursuing a career in animation.

All of my family have artistic capabilites, I wanted to go on a more modern path and become a 3D modeller, using my creative skills to produce content for people to enjoy.

Since I was young I have always been creative, a good problem solver and massively into video games. Since my first dabble into game maker studio about 5 years ago my passion for video games has turned to a passion for games development. Since working in Unreal Engine this passion has continued to burn brightly.

I have been fortunate to grow up surrounded by animation, Toy Story, Hercules, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc... My love for these movies led me to study Computer Animation & VFX, and also to start creating my own pieces as a filmmaker.

While growing up playing video games, and watching animated films my love of the industry grew.

I first realised that I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I was about 11 years old and I watched the behind the scenes of the original Star Wars trilogy and when I watched the making of The Lord of the Rings.

I have always loved art and have always known I wanted to be an Artist of some kind. My interest in the character and environment designs when playing games inspired me to pursue Concept Art at University.

I always wanted to do art for film, tv and games but always saw it as unrealistic and so it was more of a dream than a real career choice. That was, until I discovered Hollow Knight, one of the best and most visually stunning games I've ever had the pleasure of playing and when I found out there was only one artist working on the game, working in games suddenly became a realistic option for me.

From an early age, my fascination with creativity, expressed through doodles and writing, shaped my desire to work in the creative industries. Witnessing the profound impact of artistic expression on individuals and society fueled my passion. Recognizing the power to inspire and connect people, I gravitated towards contributing to the dynamic world of creative endeavors. I am excited to be part of an industry that continuously pushes boundaries and shapes our collective experience.

Since I was young I've always been creative, I was always drawing or trying different instruments to make music with. But when I realised that I could actually work on TV shows and animations after watching lots of behind the scenes videos, I knew it was what I wanted to do. I'm the type of person who can't stop making things and to be able to do that everyday as a job is very exciting to me.

I have always had an interest in cartoons and video games, and when I was younger I really enjoyed looking into the behind the scenes of how they were created.

I've always loved art and videogames, so when my family told me about this industry a few years ago I was immediately hooked

I've always loved being creative but I first started seriously considering a career in animation whilst I worked on my undergrad.

my hobby has always been games and movies, and i wanted to study something within that field.
