10th grade when i realised i could study animation in my home country

I enrolled in The Game Assembly after wanting something different from work freelance as a illustrator. But it was only after I ended up applying to The Game Assembly that I truly fell in love with 3D and game development as a profession. I enjoyed everything from discussions about good game design to how we can present a story with limited resources and time. I realized this is the industry I want to learn and grow from.

I've always been fascinated by 3D but I didn't realize that it was something I wanted to work with until I saw that you could study it. I started my journey as a Game Design and Scripting student but completely fell in love with 3D when I tried it. I decided that I wanted to learn more and haven't stopped learning since!

I first considered working in the entertainment industry when a friend of mine boldly stated that he was going to make video games for a living. I had had the thought before in daydreaming kind of scenarios but never considered it a possibility until then.

I have always been interested in drawing and creating the visuals for characters and environments, both from books and my imagination. Because of that I went on an internship at The Animation Workshop when I was 15, and immediately felt at home. I dreamt about pursuing a career in this field, but didn't dare to, until I realized I wanted to be doing something I felt was worthwhile for a living, and applied for the school. Since then I have only been confirmed in this being the right choice!

I've had the dream of working with creative media ever since I was a child but I lacked the confidence and right life-circumstances to pursue this dream up until pretty recently (2-3 years ago).

I've always loved playing games, drawing and creating things, I figured why not make this my profession!

I have always had three major interests in my life: video games, Taekwondo and art. I started to play at my big brother’s Amiga 500. It was through video games that I first learned about Taekwondo: I played a game called Tekken 3 as a child and soon wanted to try the sport for real. Taekwondo took the most part of my life and I competed at elite level in Sweden for several years. I realized in 2017 that I wanted to become a game artist. because games has always inspires me!

I always wanted to, but I didn't know how to acchieve it until I discovered digital sculpting and modeling in 2018.

As many people before me, I started small. I approached traditional drawing with a fresh and new mind and I slowly transitioned into the worlds of 3D and VFX. I found a passion in texturing and lookdev and my goal is to use them as tools of great storytelling.

I decided I wanted to work in the game industry when I was 6, after I played Crash Bandicoot for the first time. From that moment I've never stop play videogames.

I think i realised back in 2019. I started my journey by following a few online courses in photoshop, 3ds Max and Zbrush. Now I am enrolled at The Animation Workshop Denmark. This is only the beginning

When i was fifteen i was lucky enough to have parents who bought me a cintiq, and that made my motivation and discipline skyrocket. From that moment i knew i wanted to be an artist

Since I first started playing games by a young age. Since then I've always wanted to be able to be a part of creating immersive games and environments. Currently studying game art at The Game Assembly Stockholm, Sweden.

I attended a bordering school in Denmark called Tjele Efterskole. There, one of the main courses was Animation and I got to have Mikkel Mainz as my teacher in Animation when he was doing his Bachelor in Character Animation at the Animation Workshop. Everything from there was sparked my joy in creating characters and worlds.

From a young age I've been hooked on drawing and storytelling. As soon as I discovered the world of visual development and realized it was a feasible career path, I knew that I wanted to work in the entertainment industry. In recent years my interest in creative media has expanded into CG Art and now I enjoy visualizing stories through concept art as much as bringing them to life in 3D.

I've always loved the fantastical elements of life. When I was a child, life was full of wonder. My friends and I would imagine that we were part of the shows and films we loved, and sometimes we would even believe in the magic and attempt to make it come true. It never did come true, but I've found along the way that this industry is the place to make your dreams come to life.

Making the things I enjoy is the only thing that makes sense. It's been that clear for as long as I can remember.

I realised that I wanted to work with film in 2013, when I was studying at the European Film College. Through the years I gradually changed course from traditional film making to VFX and CG. I started studying at The Animation Workshop in 2018, and that’s when I knew that I had found the right career path.

I am been a creative for as long as I can recall, and built worlds of games, illustrative stories and much, much more ever since I was a kid. As soon as I heard about the 3D industry and what it had to offer, I found my calling to go to The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark.

ever since I was a teenager I´ve always wanted to be part of this creative industry!
