Round of applause for our sponsors

I'll be featuring a selection of game-ready Character Art from my portfolio to showcase my current skill set, adaptability and passion for Game Art. Thank you for taking a look!

This is my most recent game-ready character model exploring current industry techniques with a more realistic art style than I usually explore; inspired by the Monster hunter IP.

This project spanned 12 weeks and included the creation of concept art for the character and supporting monster; the creation of hair cards for the first time using XGen in Maya; Fibermesh for eyelash creation and Nanomesh for embroidery stitching in ZBrush and the implementation of tileable materials in engine to bypass UV resolution restrictions.

This next project features a stylised character created for a small student made game: 'As I Remember', and is also the winning entry for the SFASX Character Art competition.

I had the honour of working with an incredible animator on this project, which helped push my communications skills and understanding of the rigging pipeline; allowing for this character to be implemented into our game and really come to life. It was a joy to design this character from scratch from my own concepts following the theme of a 'kid' and see them running around in a playable game.

This project helped push my understanding of shape language and strengthen my connections with other game disciplines in a working environment.
