Akatsuki: When She Avenge Upon the Dawning Skies

She who hunts the wicked noblemen shall never let them glimpse the dawn of tomorrow as she kills them mercilessly. Akatsuki follows a young heiress of an assassin family who lose her entire clan in a night by the sword of one unknown individual and the only clue that she has is that he who only appears at night. She would have to gave up her title as the heiress and force herself to work as an Oiran, attracting both samurais and noblemen with her unimaginable beauty in order to get more information on the individual. 

Akatsuki is the first thing that pop up in my mind when I first attended this class during my third year first semester class. I have a few other ideas after that but they all got rejected as there is no progression in the story. With this project, I get to learn how the Japanese kimonos are actually worn during the historical period of Japan. Below are the artworks that I make during the semester. 

These are the rejected character sketches that I propose to my lecturer. The first sketches being titled Astral Prophecy. The story is about a wandering magician whose titles the Greatest Seer is looking for her grand master with trying the avoid being acknowledge by the soldiers of a kingdom for her crimes of lying to the King about the death of his son. 

The next set of rejected sketches is title Scarborough Waltz. Is about a girl who serve the Minister of Finance as his personal maid and his strategist while hiding two secrets, one is that she is his daughter trying to avoid being courted by noblemen sons and the second being that she herself is a witch that manipulates the household tools to work on themselves.

Matte Painting : Pushing Myself To the Limit

At first, I am weak in things like photobashing because of the limited that I have. I struggle at first until my third year second semester came by. In this class, I was taught how to properly bash the images properly and don't rush into things that aren't meant to be rush. below are my artworks that I made during the class.

For my final year group project, I was given a chance to work on one of the key art for the short film. Here is the key art that I did after a few rounds of feedback sessions with my lecturer.

Here below are my sketches for my IP that I create for my project. I wanted to design Lolita costumes and thinking for making them into my own brand as it is difficult to find people who actually make custom made dresses in my home country. 

For the last part, I would like to showcase my costume designing skills that I have done. Recently I have join a uniform designing contest that consist of fashion design technique and yet to be announce if I make it through stage two which is to make the mock up of the costume that I propose.
