Nadyn's Concept Design & Illustration Compilation

The artworks below are under a group project that I've contributed to, called the Fate of the Challenge. It takes place in a medieval era with fantasy elements such as mystical creatures and deities. 

And here are some key arts that I've done for this project. I've learned a lot about composition and how to convey emotions through light and mood. 

Next up is a project that I have done called The Healing. Taken place in a Middle Eastern country, 2 herbologists went on a mission to cure the people who are infected by a virus.

For this task, I was given a assignment brief to create a main protagonist with a gender bend together. So Akila is the main character and the gender bend is named Hakim. 

During this creature design process, there were difficulties  and there were a lot of changes done. For me, this was one of the hardest to design.

This project is more stylised concept art. Below are my final artworks and sketching process which consists of character, creature and environment design. Throughout this process, as much fun as I had designing this, there were many difficulties I had to overcome. From having to design detailed characters to simple design characters, it was a little bit challenging but overall I've learned a lot through this project. 

Moving on, here are my other works starting from portraits and matte painting. Both of them are fun to learn to and I enjoyed doing each piece.
