Narnia - Lucy's Cordial
This prop portfolio piece was one of the projects I wanted to work on for a long time. The Chronicles of Narnia was my doorway to the fantasy worlds and still holds a special place in my heart. Lucy’s Potion bottle was a great way to visit my most beloved fantasy series. I worked on this prop, modelling mid-poly in Blender, high poly sculpts in ZBrush, bakes in Marmoset, and texturing in Substance Painter.
I used Substrate shader type in UE5 for the bottle to create the multi-layered look of the potion.

Technically, I could reduce the texture set count to 2 by combining the Figure and the flaps with other sets; however, I wanted to catch on crisp bakes for the Figure and achieve the highest quality possible, especially since there are some close-up shots. The cap mesh was decimated instead, as it includes sculpt detail that would notably reduce the quality if baked. All shots are rendered in real-time with Lumen in Unreal Engine 5. Detail props are from Megascans.
